Shortly after sunrise, Iran launched a barrage of 20-30 missiles in three waves, according to Israel’s Army Radio. Sirens were sounded in the north, and then throughout the entire country. Most of the missiles were intercepted by Israel’s air defenses; the missile that hit the port city of Haifa, where Arabs and Jews live side-by-side, was the only one that caused injuries on the ground. It turns out that one of the damaged buildings was the Al-Jreena Mosque, one of the most important Muslim houses of worship in the city. Muslim clerics, or imams, were in the mosque, presumably ahead of weekly juma’ah services held on Fridays. This outrageous attack took place in Haifa—a city that stands as a symbol of coexistence between Jews, Muslims, Christians, Druze, Circassians, and Bahá’ís. They try to kill Israelis of all faiths—Muslims included. We will defend all Israelis. All faiths included. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the Western Wall in Jerusalem on Sunday evening to offer a public prayer of thanksgiving following the unprecedented US military strike on three of Iran’s nuclear sites in a mission named “Operation Midnight Hammer,” according to a Western Wall Heritage Foundation statement. Joined by his wife, Sara, the prime minister participated in a special prayer service led by Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz, rabbi of the Western Wall and holy sites, and Mordechai (Suli) Eliav, director of the Western Wall Heritage Foundation. The gathering included psalms of praise and expressions of gratitude to God for what officials described as “manifest miracles” witnessed during the ongoing “Rising Lion” war. The service also featured a heartfelt prayer for the well-being of US President Donald Trump, in appreciation for his decisive military support and commitment to Israel’s security. “This was a prayer of thanks—to the Almighty, and to a great friend of Israel,” said a source close to the prime minister. Ten days earlier, on the eve of the war, Netanyahu quietly visited the Western Wall to pray for the nation’s success, inserting a note between the ancient stones that read: “Am kelavi yakum – A nation shall rise like a lion.” At the conclusion of Sunday’s prayer, he placed a second note in the Wall with the updated message: “Am Yisrael kam – Am Yisrael chai!” (“The nation of Israel has risen – the Nation of Israel lives!”) Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has chosen three senior clerics as potential candidates to be his successor should Israel succeed in eliminating him, the New York Times reported on Saturday, citing three Iranian officials. He also reportedly made the “unusual decision” of asking Iran’s Assembly of Experts, which is the body tasked with appointing a supreme leader, to choose his successor from the three names. Israel has been eliminating the top military and IRGC commanders, in addition to top nuclear scientists in charge of Iran’s nuclear program, since it launched Operation Rising Lion on June 13. Khamenei has therefore had to appoint several replacements, many of whom have subsequently been killed by Israeli strikes. According to the report, Khamenei named an “array of replacements down his chain of military command” to have backups in case Israel strikes even more of his newly appointed commanders. Khamenei, who is 86 years old, has been the supreme leader of Iran since 1989, when he succeeded Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, the revolutionary Islamist responsible for Iran’s Islamic revolution. According to Iran International, Khamenei and his family are hiding from the Israelis in an underground bunker in Lavizan in northeastern Tehran, where they fled just hours after Israel launched Operation Rising Lion. Pastor JD Farag thinks this war will lead to the peace agreement that gets us raptured. Or I guess this coule be the peace treaty that will be inforced by the AC in the hopefully near future.Iranian Missile Strike on Haifa Hits Historic Mosque, Injures Imams:
