For releasing hostages: Hamas wants guarantees it stays standing:

According to senior Israeli officials, Hamas has shifted its priorities regarding the deal, stating the release of prisoners is no longer the primary condition for them; Instead, the terrorist organization now demands an immediate and total cessation of the war, along with the complete IDF withdrawal from the Gaza Strip.

Israel's senior officials affirm their commitment to advancing a deal that would result in the release of the hostages, as Israel believes paying a price is worth considering for such an agreement. However, power dynamics have shifted. While initially, Hamas promoted a prisoner-for-hostage deal, the focus has now shifted away from prisoners. The primary demand of the terrorist organization is the cessation of the war, additionally demanding Israel's complete withdrawal from the Strip, along with international guarantees to maintain its authority in Gaza.

We May Not Have Crossed Into ‘World War III’ — But Our World Is At War:

We’re not currently in a World War, but we can say accurately that our world is at war. Just yesterday, while reading the newspaper, all the global hotspots and flash points that exist today struck me—article after article about all the places where there are ongoing wars, conflicts, and rumors of wars. It’s not just in the newspapers; you see it online and on all the cable news channels 24/7.

Let’s examine one single news cycle.

One article I read stated that just within the continent of Africa, there are currently 35 ongoing armed conflicts.

We see all across the news the activity of Iran and its proxies/surrogates. Iran has formed what is called the “Axis of Resistance,” which perpetrates waves of attacks and reprisals. There have been 130 attacks by this “Axis of Resistance” so far against US bases in Syria and Iraq since mid-October.

This week, within a short 24-hour timespan, Iran launched missile and drone attacks against three of its neighboring nations—Syria, Iraq, and Pakistan.

Syria was targeted because ISIS, which is now active again, is responsible for bombs detonated at the commemoration ceremony of Iranian general Qasem Soleimani’s death. The terrorists blew themselves up, killing over 100 people. Iran is firing into Iraq because they believe that there is an intelligence headquarters by the Israeli Mossad in the northern portion of the country. Pakistan was fired upon due to Tehran’s belief that anti-Iranian terrorist groups were holed up in the country.

The United States announced on Tuesday that the Navy commandeered Iranian missiles on their way to the Houthi rebels in Yemen. A large billboard on the side of a building in Tehran depicts Iranian missiles with writing in both Hebrew and Persian, reading “Prepare your coffins.”  All of this is happening as Iran is on the cusp of the nuclear threshold.

The newspaper I read yesterday also covered the Israel-Gaza War, the Houthis attacks on the Red Sea, and the US, the UK, and Australia striking targets in Yemen. You can see all the nations that are involved, which have already been mentioned: Israel, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Pakistan, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia.

We also have China’s threat to Taiwan. Taiwan held its elections on January 13th. They elected Lai Ching-te, who is very anti-China and against any kind of reunification. Then, on Wednesday, eighteen Air Force planes from China were operating in and around Taiwan.

“North Korea says it will rewrite its constitution casting South Korea as a hostile nation, breaking its policy of seeking peaceful reunification,” the WSJ reported.  The leader of North Korea has canceled any hope of reunification and reconciliation with South Korea. The Korean peninsula right now is more dangerous than at any time since 1950—the Korean War.

“Europe is preparing for Russian President Vladimir Putin to expand his country’s war in Ukraine and attack NATO ally countries next year, leaked [classified military] documents [from the German Ministry of Defense] reveal,” NY Post detailed. “The potential scenario outlines how Russia could start waging war in the Baltics by July using severe cyberattacks while stirring up discontent among Russian nationals in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.”

Again, we haven’t arrived at World War III yet, but it’s clear that our world today is at war. All that I have detailed was found in one news cycle—just in one day that I came across.

Let me remind you: Jesus said, “ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars,” but He follows it with these words, “See that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.”

Amir Tsarfati:

As part of the fighting in Khan Yunis, we located a tunnel where abductees were held in the past. The fighters located the entrance to the tunnel based on accurate intelligence found in the house of a Hamas terrorist in Khan Yunis.

. . .  the fighters found a central space that, according to the testimonies of abductees who returned from Gaza, we understand that is where they stayed most of the time. In this space, we found findings that indicate the stay of abductees, including paintings drawn by the 5-year-old girl Amelia Aloni along with other abductees.

According to evidence we have, about 20 abductees were held in this tunnel at different times, in difficult conditions without daylight, in dense air, little oxygen and terrible humidity that makes breathing difficult. Some of them were released about 50 days ago and some are still being held in Gaza and may even be in more difficult conditions, among them very old people who need medicine and help.

Yesterday, before we destroyed the tunnel, we documented the place and brought in journalists from the international media to show the world a testimony that must not be forgotten: Hamas committed and continues to commit crimes against humanity, holding innocent civilians, children, women, men, some of them sick.
.....
Trey Yingst: “In a network of tunnels underneath Khan Younis, Israeli forces took us to cells where they found DNA of hostages.”
.....
Russian Air Force planes began aerial patrols along the so-called "Bravo Line" that divides the Golan Heights between Syria and Israel, Deputy Director of the Russian Center for Reconciliation (a division of the Russian Ministry of Defense), Rear Admiral Vadim Kulit, stated on Thursday. According to him, the flights were intended to "monitor the situation."
.....
It took the world 80 years to forget the Holocaust.
The horrors of 7.10 - only 80 days.

The world, led by the US, is putting pressure on the victim, Israel, to give the Palestinians the greatest gift they asked for - recognition of the state - as a reward for their murder.

The irony of it all is that, in the name of anti-colonialism, the behavior of the world is incredibly colonialist. They don’t even ask the Palestinians what they think about a two-state solution.

A few days ago, a Hamas leader made it clear that “From the river to the sea” and from the Lebanese border to the Egyptian one - it’s all theirs. So even if they agree to the 1967 borders it will be a temporary move without EVER accepting the legitimacy of Israel.

Amir Tsarfati:

The IDF is engaged in recent hours in the most powerful assault on Gaza’s terror capital - Khan Yunis - the birthplace of Hamas leaders and where they are hiding at the moment. Over 160 terrorists were killed. The 98th division that included 4 brigades of infantry armor and engineering corps alongside special operation units operate above the ground, while multiple commando units are operating under the ground.
Stay tuned as I will share soon an unprecedented achievement we had in the last 24 hours!
.....
The IDF commando units exposed a tunnel system known as “The Pentagon of Hamas” - a large computer room in which much intelligence material of the terrorist organization was discovered.
.....
US and UK attacks on several Houthi strongholds across Yemen!
.....
Israel made an offer to the Qataris.
60 days without war, in exchange for all the abductees.
.....
Video experts have confirmed that the footage aired by Al Jazeera today, which was purported to show injuries from Israel's airstrikes in Gaza, was in fact staged by the cameraman and Al Jazeera staff. The staging included poor acting, clearly fake blood, and individuals moving in sync with the camera while pretending to be injured. Such deceptive practices are not only unethical but also deeply disrespectful to those who are truly suffering from this conflict. There is no need for 'Pallywood' theatrics; shame on those involved.
.....
21 Israeli soldiers were killed in a tragic event in Gaza.
Hamas forces fired a rocket-propelled grenade on multiple adjacent structures, along with landmines that the IDF forces had collected and brought into the buildings, which caused a total collapse that killed 19 soldiers and injured at least 15 others.
The incident occurred around 4:00 p.m. in al-Muasi in central Gaza.
In addition, a separate rocket-propelled grenade was fired on an IDF tank which killed two IDF soldiers and injured two others.
.....
The disaster in the Gaza Strip is at least the second case in which many soldiers are killed during an operation to blow up buildings using mines and explosives. The IDF uses this technique as part of its armaments economy policy, in preparation for a possible war in the north, and therefore minimizes as much as possible the dropping of precision weapons from the air. In light of the fact that a significant percentage of civilians in war are killed this way, it is necessary to consider changing the technique of flattening buildings, even when it is known that there are no terrorists in them.

Iran’s President Heads to Turkey to Discuss ‘Annihilation’ of Israel:

President Ebrahim Raisi of Iran departed for Turkey on Wednesday, expected to hold in-person meetings with Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan on how best to support the jihadist terror group Hamas in its campaign of human rights atrocities against Israel.

Iran is the world’s premier state sponsor of terrorism and a top financial and ideological supporter of Hamas, the Gaza-based Sunni terrorist outlet responsible for the unprecedented atrocities against the Israeli population on October 7. Erdogan, an avowed Islamist, has repeatedly declared his support publicly, denying that Hamas is a “terrorist organization” and claiming that the group’s “resistance” against Israel – in the form of infanticide, gang-rape, mass slaughter of civilians in their homes, and other crimes against humanity – is legitimate.

Both Iran and Turkey celebrated the October 7 attacks, Tehran with a massive street party featuring chants of “death to America” and Ankara with a “Great Palestine Rally” reportedly featuring over 1 million people.

Amir Tsarfati:

The Wall Street Journal: Israel informed the US of its intention to establish a buffer zone one kilometer deep in the Gaza Strip.
.....
Reuters: Israel offered Hamas the end of the war as it requested - but in exchange for the exile of the six senior members of Hamas from the Gaza Strip and, of course, the release of all the abductees.
Hamas refused.
.....
Just so people around the world understand the way Israelis view Trump:
During his time in office Israel saw the move of the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem, the recognition of the Golan heights as Israeli territory, the Israeli settlements in our historical ancestral homeland of Judea and Samaria were not considered illegal, Iran was deterred and arch terrorists like Soleimani were eliminated, America withdrew from the shameful nuclear deal with Iran following the unveiling of the archive that showed their true intentions, and, above all, a historic peace deal with four Arab countries was signed.
Since Biden took office ALL the bad guys are turning the Middle East into a World War zone!
.....
With the completion of the encirclement of Khan Yunis, a story from the 4th division:

Deep in Khan Yunis, the brigade entered one of the buildings with bullets in the barrels. The whole building was empty but to their astonishment they found an elderly couple in one of the apartments.

A POW interrogator was called to dub them in Arabic and ask what the heck they are still doing there. They told him that everyone ran away to find a protected place however their family and neighbors abandoned them to die helpless and alone.

After a long time, the IDF in an operation involving not less than 30 soldiers managed to feed them (in the photo) and hand them over to the Red Cross so that they could move them to a protected area.

So much for a little story about the morality of the residents of Gaza towards their people.
.....
Gazans demonstrate against Hamas. I guess they can smell its demise!
.....
Israeli strikes on Hezbollah targets in Yarun - southern Lebanon.

U.S. Stops Funding UNRWA After Staff Involved in Hamas October 7 Terrorist Attack:

The U.N. Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), an organization for decades facing accusations of fueling radical Islam and antisemitism in Gaza, announced Friday it was suspending some staff over allegations they joined the horrific Oct. 7 Hamas terrorist attacks on Israel.

U.N. chief Antonio Guterres “is horrified” by the accusations and an “urgent and comprehensive independent review of UNRWA will be conducted”, said his spokesman Stephane Dujarric.

The United States was the agency’s biggest bilateral donor in 2022, contributing more than $340 million, according to UNRWA’s website.

The U.S. State Department also reacted quickly to the news by stating it has paused additional funding for UNRWA while it reviews the allegations “and the steps the United Nations is taking to address them.”

Twelve workers from UNRWA currently face accusations they willingly participated in the deadly Hamas terror attack.

Former President Donald Trump axed U.S. funding for the group in 2018 only for President Joe Biden to restore it as soon as he took office, as Breitbart News reported.

Biden administration officials boasted last February of committing over $730 million in American taxpayers’ dollars to the UNRWA – $680 million between 2021, when Biden became president, and early 2023, followed by a promise from Secretary of State Antony Blinken of another forthcoming $50 million by last December.

Earlier this month White House national security spokesman John Kirby defended the Biden administration’s support for UNRWA as it faced accusations of allowing Hamas terrorists to use its facilities, as Breitbart News reported.

He said UNRWA does “important work” in trying to “get food, water, [and] medicine” to Palestinians in Gaza.

@patrician And just how much of that is kicked back to the “Big Guy” and his cronies?
