I’m not a man of many words so this will likely be my lengthiest post…ever. I have just had a persistent urging to write this.

I could aptly title this post “How I Fell in Love with THIS Yom Teruah”. In this post, I will give you a little background on my personal experiences and thoughts about where we are right now.

But first, I need to make a few clarifying statements to help show where I am coming from. I also need to provide you with the Scriptures I am using as my backstop.

The Hebrew word “yom” in Yom Teruah denotes a single, sunset to sunset day. Please read the article below for an explanation far better than I can give.

https://creationtoday.org/the-hebrew-yom-taking-one-day-at-a-time/

We see two places in Scripture where Yom Teruah is given as a feast day to the Hebrews. Those locations are in Leviticus 23 and Numbers 29. We also see in Numbers 10 the details on the blowing of the two trumpets. If there are other passages in Scripture that provide amplifying details on either the Feasts or the blowing of trumpets, I am not aware of them so please let me know if I am missing anything.

So, with this as the backdrop, let me tell you my experience with Yom Teruah as a candidate for the “catching away” (rapture). In 2011 I underwent a massive growth time in my spiritual life. I really dived into, and studied, Scripture and all of its wonderfulness. This was God’s response to my prayer (or better described as a cry) for understanding of Him and how I did not want to be deceived by the abundant false teachings that are out there.

After a study of the Lord’s Feast days, I was reading Revelation. Whether I was in Ch 3 or 5 I cannot recall. But I understood Ch 4 v1 to be a picture of the rapture. I paused my reading and asked God if the rapture was, indeed, a Yom Teruah event. I “heard” (in a spiritual sense) to turn the page. And right there in front of me (Ch 4 v1) was confirmation: “After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.” Again, in a spiritual sense I heard “This is important. Don’t forget this”.

At that point in my life, I was still maturing in my walk. I took this to mean that 2011 was “it”. Needless to say, I was severely disappointed. So, 2012 rolled around and was certain that 2011 was a warmup. Again, severely disappointed.

2013 rolled around. I was on the island of Guam for work. The prophecy world was ablaze at that time because of all the “red line” talk that the US was giving to Syria about her purported use of chemical weapons. Something did not settle well with in me about that. So many folks “knew” that was the year of the rapture. I had matured enough by then to come to understand that on the cusp of our great hope, we are not to be looking for the break out of war, but rather the break out of peace (for when they shall say “peace and safety”….).

Then, for the next several years I maintained a “standoff” distance from all of this. What I was looking for was not happening. I refused to buy in to the whole 2017 “Revelation 12 sign” hype that was the talk of the town. To be fair, though, it does appear that the prophetic gas has been pushed “pedal to the metal” since September 2017.

Anyway, fast forward to 2020. With all that has happened just in the first half of the year I had started to take an interest in THIS Yom Teruah. I was thinking that if this is the time, then early September will be awfully busy. I was a few weeks off on my thoughts. Turns out that the “surprise of a lifetime” happened in August with the unprecedented normalization of relations between Israel and the UAE. And the talk was that several other nations were lined up to make peace on this level with Israel. Now it appears that Oman and Bahrain are on the cusp. Could this be the start of the peace breakout I was looking for? It sure looks this way.

I feel that this next 10 days will be critical. It was just released that Iran is only 3 months away from being nuclear weapons capable. Israel must act fast (real fast) to destroy this capability. For her to do that, she will need the entire Arab world around her to publicly declare that they are making peace with Israel. This action is critical as it will provide the necessary deterrence against Turkey and Iran from rushing in to annihilate Israel after Israel destroys Iran’s nuclear capabilities (there are prophecies that indicate this is going to happen…but that’s another article).

Now, with all of this said, I ask two questions. 1) Why Yom Teruah? 2) Why this Yom Teruah?

Well, if the rapture were to happen on a feast day, Yom Teruah is the only viable candidate since it’s the only feast day that happens on the 1st day of the month. Given the criteria to establish the new month (you need to have visual confirmation of the sighting of the new moon) it’s the one thing that makes this feast day truly a day that you don’t know the day of until it happens. All of the other feast days you can count from the first day of the month (or in the case of Pentecost, a counting of the number of days since the last feast). But in all cases, you have to have already had day 1 of the month. Once you know that, you can easily calculate the following feast days. Not so with Yom Teruah.

As far as the “hour” goes, there is no stipulation in Scripture regarding the number of times that a trumpet needs to be blown on a feast day. Neither is there a specification on the hours they need to be blown. So, if it’s at the “last trump”, we don’t know the hour of when that is.

Why THIS Yom Teruah? We are seemingly on the verge of all out peace. The Apostle Paul doesn’t state “for then they shall have peace and safety”, only when they shall say it. With all the talk of “peace”, this year is as good of a candidate as any.

I hope this has helped to sharpen your hope. I’m certainly on the high gear watching all of this. It truly is a blessing to see God’s Words come to pass right before our very eyes!!

I get that many disagree with Dr. Berry Awe, but his latest YouTube will give you the additional 12 names for the days of FOT and their meaning. Will give you encouragement, course you will have to look passed his craziness (I find him probably certifiable) and he made at least two incorrect statements concerning Christ, but the names are encouraging - just saying! :prayer-hands:

Revelation knowledge continues to be made known!  That and the quickening of our spirits when we hear truth!

17/18/19th!

How glorious that day of the Church was spoken two thousand years ago! And God is feverishly working to confirm the year 2020!

In a fast and furious year we have had and the world has experienced!

The Lord will continue speaking to our hearts!  Will there be a 3 or 7 day definitive disclosure?!  We shall see!

In any event, this day will truly be forever remembered!  And will soon be upon us.  We shall meet and be together with Him and each other soon!

By His grace, to His glory!

See you in the air!

Your humble servant, TR

Those 12 names were really exciting! Thanks Tammie. I have been watching for 50 years since reading Late Great Planet Earth. All the t’s are getting crossed and the i’s dotted!  It appears that He’s about to take us Home. The next week or so should be intense. And most people are oblivious. They don’t want to even hear about it. How blessed we are to be so aware!

Another exciting clue revealed from the Father — two days ago (09.03.20), archeologists in the old city of David made a great discovery as yet another “proof” to the world that Israel and Gods Word have existed in the land God gave them. Per Christians United For Israel (CUFI), the signature columns of an office building were uncovered that actually have the mark of the Davidic Dynasty and they are large. Even with our Father the signs are getting more apparent and bigger each time... Wonder what’s next, how exciting :popcorn :popcorn :popcorn
