How about Today Lord?

The sojourn home has been an arduous one,

We have suffered through strife and loss,

But each time we discovered the bridge was out,

YOUR Strength allowed us to swim across.

The travels have been filled with difficulty,

Our anguish now echoes in accord,

We have been battered by every storm,

One more tempest we cannot afford.

Some are stranded atop the mountain,

Several marooned upon the raging sea,

Still others are mired in the valley below,

All dreaming of mansions in Eternity!

THE DAY now fast approaches,

To relinquish our earthly fates,

Pain and anguish will soon be faded remnants,

As we enter through those Heavenly Gates.

You are the Center of the Candelabra,

Shining brilliantly from afar,

Illuminating our Blessed Hope,

You are the Bright and Morning Star.

The prideful world will ignore Your Knock,

And henceforth struggle for their daily survival,

But there won’t be any hesitation from the watching faithful,

Our doors are FULLY-OPEN awaiting your Arrival!!!

Even so, come, Lord Jesus!!!

At Your feet we will immediately bow,

Our hearts, minds, and souls cry out:

“Please come for us NOW!!!”

We are ready for your Advent,

We stand humble and meek,

How about tomorrow?

Or at the latest next week?

Thy Will be done,

But we fervently pray,

That you come even sooner, Lord,

How about TODAY?!!!

Please hear our supplication,

Please acknowledge our pleading cry,

Please save us from further anguish,

Before this planet goes totally awry.

This is on my heart,

This is in my head,

This echoes through my soul,

This must be Spirit-led.

I love you Lord and I want to be with you NOW!!!

Humbly

Indeed Lord, hear our supplications!  For you have always heard the prayers and supplications of your people!

I can almost hear You say:

" I have heard you my beloved!  Herein is the patience of the saints, while knowing I have heard you I ask for your patience as I minister and bring about My full will.  I tarry not but am ever busy fulfilling all that I have promised!  Yet a little while and then we shall be together forever.  My heart is full of many things, but mostly filled with a profoundly deep love for you!  I am ever anxious as you are to have our hearts united.  Please believe this, for this is true!"

We believe Lord, and we wait for you are called Faithful and True.  Your promises will last long after time has ceased.
