Wishing everyone a joyous Thanksgiving and safe travels (if you’re permitted).  Perhaps we will be traveling upward to our Father’s house ... just in time for dinner? B-)

If not ... wondering what’s cooking at your house?  The staple “bird”?

Tomorrow its just going to be my puppy dog and I and since I made chicken in the crock pot for 2 days of meals ...  I decided to prepare a simple Italian meal.  A small dish of antipasto salad, a pizza pie, fruit cup.  Later for dessert ... Heavenly Hash Chocolate ice cream served in sponge cake cups topped with whip cream and nuts.  And a cup of hot cocoa, marshmallows & whip cream.

Happy Thanksgiving to all! May it be a safe and enjoyable one.

Most of all,  we give thanks to our Wonderful Heavenly Father,  our Blessed Saviour Jesus Christ and to our Comforter, the Blessed Holy Spirit.

All the languages in the world are woefully inadequate in expressing our thanks and gratitude.  So,  we'll spend an eternity doing that.  :good:

Amen Arthur!

My first words to Jesus, what took so long?

Nope, just a heartfelt thank you every time I see Him!

Hubby is playing the organ in a service at an old plantation church they open up 3 times a year in Plantersville SC.  Then we'll come home to breasts cooked in the slow cooker and relax. We watched Trump Card today, and may watch it again tomorrow. It was really great. We enjoyed the music as well as the history.

I mailed off the Christmas gifts today so only have a few cards to mail.

Thanksgiving is a high watch day for me!   Hope to see ya soon.

Happy  Thanksgiving!

Yes, since the folks that think the calendar is 1 month off think tomorrow is get on the ark day, I am in on the watching.  Not much time for posting this week as I am busy with the traditional cooking of bird, cranberries, sweet potato casserole, sweet n sour green beans, and pumpkin pie.  Have a great and thankful day!

Did you know that only in the Hebrew language, eating turkey on thanksgiving make senses? The Hebrew word for “turkey” and “give thanks” are the same: “HoDoo”

Who knew?  Odd something so different should have the same word!

I guess we're the turkeys giving thanks!
