I'm with Susan! We are expecting thunder showers today! No big plans except to do my Rapture exercises! TR Happy 4th of July. I had my GGGGGG---grandfather fight in the War for Independence. He and his 2 of his brothers left their CT farms and went off to battle. I am a DAR member. On my Dad's side of the family a Northern Irish lad married a gal from Maryland and they fought on both sides of the Civil War. LOL Family stories are great. I can't see my grandson's generation fighting for anything other than the internet...... Really sad. We had a community BBQ on Sat, that was nice, except people ate and ran. Today the boat parade and concert were cancelled due to rain. Oh today started marvelously — I sat on the front porch with family, drinking coffee and discussing the usual topics (family who are ill and others who need Jesus, Fourth of July celebrations of days gone by, the sadness of the right wing church and how that has been a hinderance to the growth of the body of Christ, the coming Rapture of the Bride, and the wars, and whatever topic came to mind for about 3 hours). Got the potato salad, baked beans, and deviled eggs ready for our Bar-b-que to begin in a bit. My daughter’s birthday is today, so the cake is ready too…. Games in the backyard (not quite like Derricks :mdrmdr: ) - corn hole, horse shoes … we will sit until the sun goes down and enjoy the last celebration of this once great nation. I have many generations of military in my family and some have given their life for this country … it is hard to bear on some days, but I too am thankful for having been born in the USA! Enjoy the day everyone and remember this is your last 4th of July for the Bride of Christ :prayer-hands:  Amen! TR
