Biden lifted sanctions on Iran. Israel will more than likely strike Iran in the very near future. I pray for the peace of Jerusalem, and the soon return of our Lord Jesus Christ. I sincerely hope the Rapture happens before this world explodes in open warfare. God Bless.

Under the curse for man and animals alike!  Nature in the wild is also not a pretty sight, predator vs prey!

Extinct Tree from Jesus' Time Springs to Life in Israeli Desert:  Seeds found in the ancient fortress of Masada that date from the time of Christ have borne fruit in Israel.

Elaine Solowey, a botanist with the Arava Institute for Environmental Studies at Kibbutz Ketura in Israel, has overseen the work to grow seeds from a variety of date palms that had become extinct.

“It was very difficult to get the seeds,” Sarah Sallon, a pediatric gastroenterologist, told the BBC in a video posted over the summer.  “It took a lot of time and effort and persuasion when people said, “What do you want them for?”  “I said, ‘We want to grow them.’ And they said, ‘You’re mad,’” said Sallon, who directs the Louis L. Borick Natural Medicine Research Center at Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem.

The first tree to grow in the Israeli desert was named Methuselah; it sprouted in 2005, according to CBN.  That was a feat because the variety of seeds grown in ancient Israel went extinct about 500 AD.  Methuselah is now a tall tree that Solowey calls “that big boy,” according to the Times of Israel. But because the tree was male, it would not bear fruit.

Solowey has produced six more saplings. She named them Adam (after one of her six sons), Jonah, Uriel, Boaz, Judith and Hannah.  Last year, Methuselah’s pollen fertilized Hannah’s flowers, producing 111 dates.  This year, according to a release from the Arava Institute, there was a harvest of 700 dates.  “They’re the size of the Medjool, but they’re dry and have a lovely honey after-taste,” Solowey said.

According to carbon dating, the seed from which Hannah sprouted is 175 years older than the one used to grow Methuselah.  “We think [the seed] dates to between 30 and 65, and that her heritage is from a date brought back by the Jews who returned from the Babylonian Exile [in 539],” Solowey said.

Israel to remain neutral in potential Us-Russia War:

As Russia masses its troops on the border with Ukraine and China rattles the sabers of its growing military, much conjecture is being made about how countries will align. The Centre for Research on Globalization published an article on its website suggesting that if a Cold War develops between the US and either Russia or China, Israel, considered one of the US’s most loyal allies, might remain neutral.  In a recent interview with AxiosAxios, the article quoted Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid, who suggested that Israel would not automatically stand by the US.

“At the moment, the [Israeli] assessment is that we don’t see a violent confrontation soon. I also don’t think a world war is about to start there,” Lapid said. “We have a duty to act with caution about the Russia-Ukraine crisis that no other country has.” The author, Andrew Korybko, referred to the “false narrative” advanced by the mainstream media that Russia and Israel are enemies.

The article in CRG suggested that Russia and Israel, in fact, have very close relations. This close alliance, the article suggests, will lead to Israel taking a neutral role in “the New Cold War’s Western Eurasian theater.”  “Israel isn’t an American puppet but is fiercely independent in terms of its foreign policy."

"The US used to be Israel’s staunchest ally, but now, the Democrats are turning on Israel, and even the US Jews can’t be relied upon like used to be the case."

"China and Israel have no ideological common ground, but China is a huge market for Israel’s high-tech. And for a country like Israel that has no natural resources, that means economic survival.”

Rabbi Pinchas Winston, a prolific end-of-days author, explained that Israel will begin in a neutral role in the developing Gog and Magog conflict but will certainly not remain so.

“This is clear from the fact that people are asking about where Israel stands in these issues. What connection does tiny Israel have with Ukraine and its conflict with Russia? But this is building up to Gog and Magog, and therefore people understand subconsciously that the focus will eventually shift to Israel.”

This could be a real game changer, indeed!

Bennett: Israel to install laser-based missile shield within a year
Bennett: Israel to install laser-based missile shield within a year
i24NEWS

The innovation could be game changer against Hamas, Iran

Israel's Prime Minister Naftali Bennett stated Monday that the Jewish state will soon implement a sophisticated laser-based missile shield, a potential game changer against the Gaza Stip-based terrorists of Hamas as well as the Iranian nuclear threat.

Speaking at the annual conference of the Institute for National Security Studies, Bennett said that "within about a year, the Israel Defense Forces will implement a laser-based interception system," adding that the new technology "will be implemented in the south first, and later elsewhere."

"The system will allow Israel to be surrounded by a laser wall that will protect it from missiles, rockets, UAVs and other threats," the prime minister added.

The new and more technologically advanced shield will eventually scale out the highly-regarded Iron Dome air defense system currently utilized in all parts of the country; a laser-based interception system has the additional benefit of minimal operational costs.

“If we can intercept a missile or rocket with an electric pulse that costs only a few dollars, we will by all accounts neutralize the ring of fire Iran has set up around our borders,” Bennett said.

So, the thought would be that Israel's enemies may want to attack before this laser shield gets installed and is operational. Hmmm... :mail:

I am not sure about the above video.  I viewed some other videos from the same source and in the comments people are calling some of them fake news.

Interesting article speculating on the idea that the Vatican has a storeroom of ancient Jewish items from the second temple period.

A short quote from Arthur's article:

There are several people alive that can personally attest to being eyewitnesses of the Vatican possessing Temple vessels, including the Menorah candelabra. Will any one of them come forward and expose what they know (along with themselves)? No, and I quite frankly don’t blame them. That might be unwise. It doesn’t end here though, because if this were in a judicial court setting (and it isn’t), the majority would agree that there is enough information already on file to have reasonable, or “justifiable cause” to move forward. What this means in our case is that making that museum deal is starting to look better and better.

The State of Israel, therefore, should start preparing a legal repatriation case arguing that the ancient Temple artifacts, wherever they may lie, fully belong in Jerusalem as the everlasting national heritage of the Jewish people.
