Not only does the Lord wait for a completion of the harvest of souls, but also He waits for the fullness of evil! Eliminating fence sitters of every ilk, with the Lord your either in or out! He is looking for people who are desperate for truth and love, or for those who have already eternally rejected Him! Ultimately however we choose, there is a point of no return! Or so it seems to me! Those He leaves behind will clearly justify and validate God's choice! TR :bye: Well .. I’m part Calvin … and it could be God is trying to wake up a few … that are sitting on the fence and still love this world and putting off the decision. I recall this one butcher who was very friendly and wanted to know if I needed a particular cut of meat. I said no thanks I found it right here … but I do have something that you are going to need and I gave the Gospel to him… he said you’re the 3rd person to speak about this subject … do you think God is trying to get my attention? I said YES, He is! He agreed and promised to seriously take heed of the Bible tract and actually read it on his time off. I never did see him after that encounter. So maybe he passed away after getting saved? But I can just picture the last few that get saved to close the church age down. Could it be … they were giving a gazillion chances to accept and FINALLY they do believe? I would love to know how many times or was it just once before they trusted? Should be interesting, eh? B-) Very!! TR Yes and the many other mysteries that will be revealed to us. I think we are going to be blown away by what we see. Shouldn’t be long now! Well the Amorites were given every opportunity to be saved and God waited for their iniquity to be full. Genesis 15 12 Now when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and behold, horror and great darkness fell upon him. 13 Then He said to Abram: “Know certainly that your descendants will be strangers in a land that is not theirs, and will serve them, and they will afflict them four hundred years. 14 And also the nation whom they serve I will judge; afterward they shall come out with great possessions. 15 Now as for you, you shall go to your fathers in peace; you shall be buried at a good old age. 16 But in the fourth generation they shall return here, for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet complete.” Methinks this generation's iniquity is pretty well full now. If God doesn't act soon, He'll owe the Amorites an apology. I would love to know the measure that God uses when deciding when the iniquity is "full", and then see how close this world is to that line. He is certainly being enormously longsuffering and patient....I would have thought that this world was fully "ripe" for judgement years ago. The vast majority of the inhabitants of this world just have absolutely no awareness of that reality as they carelessly ignore God and pursue sin like there's no tomorrow.
