This, from Todd @ R.R. is timely . . and  helps us understand our frustration over evil people ~ ~

. . . "God is in charge of everything that happens. His level of control is so absolute, He sets the stage for everything that will happen in the universe. How can Satan compete against a Being who knows every move he is going to make ahead of time? God does more than just rule the chessboard. He controls both the white and the black pieces.

The devil is so hopelessly outwitted, God published in the Bible many of Satan’s fatal mistakes far ahead of the time he made them. There are still some blunders yet to come. The Holy Word predicts that the devil will attempt to destroy the Jews and that he will make a stand against Jesus at the Battle of Armageddon. Both will end in total failure.

There are scary days ahead when Satan will be granted a lot more power than he has now. , the Church will escape the worst of these days. Tribulation saints will suffer greatly, but they are encouraged by the fact that Satan will completely lose in the end.

“And the Devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and sulfur, where are also the beast and the false prophet; and they shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever” (Revelation 20:10). "

I love this!  Thank you for sharing.  Can you imagine the “religious” leaders celebrating “victory” on Friday but on Sunday … its Victory for the Christians! 🙌

I’m rethinking the crowd that gathered at Palm Sunday and worshipped Jesus as He rode on the donkey

Matt 21

8 And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way.

9 And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.

10 And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?

11 And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.

vs.

the rabid angry crowd that cried out crucify Him and let His blood be upon us and our children.  So many preachers taught what a fickled crowd to turn on Him the next week but I don’t think its the same group … cause how could true believers stop worshipping and then backstabbing and denying their Savior?  It had to be a totally different mob of people that the evil “religious” Sadducees and Pharisees either hired  and paid them off with a few coins or it could be the crooked money changers in that crowd because immediately following the triumphant entry … Jesus does this …

12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,

13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

I would like to think that Geri. But then even Jesus' disciple Peter denied Jesus and Judas betrayed Him 🙁

I think Peter was scared and that is why he denied Jesus while observing when they brought Jesus to the High Priest’s house and before that in the garden wasn’t it Peter that cut off the Roman soldier’s ear trying to stop them from taking Jesus?   But I don’t think Peter would of cried out crucify Him.  I’m sure there could of been Christians standing and observing everything when Jesus stood before pilot … but I can’t see them shouting out for His death.
