Would enjoy your thoughts on this ~~ I respect Fay, and enjoy her posts~  on this, I don't understand why she considers Rev. 7:9 the rapture timeframe  ~ ~   Christ's church will already be raptured to 'witness' above Christ our Lord opening the seals of God's wrath on a Christ rejecting world ~~

There are definitely some unorthodox and unscriptural positions held by some of the members. 🙁

Usually it involves the thoroughly unbiblical 6th seal Rapture.

The idea that the first 5 seals are the wrath of man or wrath of satan. This is frankly, blasphemy. Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, is opening the seals in Judgement. To attribute to satan that which is the work of Jesus Christ is literally playing with fire.

Matthew 12:22-32

New King James Version

A House Divided Cannot Stand
22 Then one was brought to Him who was demon-possessed, blind and mute; and He healed him, so that the blind and mute man both spoke and saw. 23 And all the multitudes were amazed and said, “Could this be the Son of David?”

24 Now when the Pharisees heard it they said, “This fellow does not cast out demons except by Beelzebub, the ruler of the demons.”

25 But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them: “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand. 26 If Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand? 27 And if I cast out demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore they shall be your judges. 28 But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you. 29 Or how can one enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house. 30 He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad.

The Unpardonable Sin
31 “Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men. 32 Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.

Context!

I warned that there has been and will continue to be "silly" or unorthodox teachings regarding the Rapture!

Exotic interpretations for dreams and visions will also abound!

Having just enough spiritural knowledge to be dangerous!  Been there, done that!

The season of time, peer review and critique are essential!  Counterweighted by the whole council of God!

Sadly, personal and subjective truth are being taught as doctrinal truth!

Faye is so off by a long shot. She also said (perhaps a typo given what comes later) that Enoch appeared with Moses at the Transfiguration. That is not what Scripture tells us.

Where she came up with her conclusion is totally beyond me. It has no Scriptural basis, even if she thinks it does. That the Church isn't mentioned past chapter 3 should give her a clue as to when the Rapture takes place. But even beyond that, the first six Seals are opened in chapter 6. The Church is NOT destined for God's wrath so we aren't around when these judgements are executed on the world. By chapter 7 the wrath of God is already being poured out. Then, in Rev 7:13 the angel asks John who this great multitude of people standing before the Throne clothed in white and holding palm branches are. Rev 7:14 tells us that "These are they which came out of the great tribulation, and having washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb."  They are what we refer to as Tribulation Saints. Since the Church will NOT be going through the Tribulation, these people cannot be us. So given what she's written I'd say she is a hybrid mid-tribber. She doesn't seem to have a pre-wrath position because as we can see from chapter 6, the wrath of God is already being poured out. She can't be a pre-tribber for obvious reasons.

I guess my question to folk with her reasoning is "Why do you thing we will be punished for being in Christ?" No other generation has ever experienced what the people in the Tribulation will experience. Not even close. As terrible as some saints have been treated (just read Foxe's Book of Martyrs) in the past 2000 years, what is coming is far worse!

Donna,   I've been reading 5 Doves for 20 years.   My take is some of the writers are getting older and I think are losing mental abilities.   Fay is not the only one.

True!   But I resemble that remark!

Sadly, many sites allow mis-information, wild conjecture and unquestioned dreams and visions!

Buyer we ware!

Regarding dreams and visions, I agree with G Campbell Morgan, who writes:

There are some who seem eager to talk of visions and revelations which they have had. The question is as to whether such eagerness is not proof that the vision and revelations as not "of the Lord". When they are granted (and they certainly are granted to the servants of God under certain circumstances), they produce a reverent reticence. They are too solemn, too overwhelming, to be lightly described or discussed, but the effect of them will be apparent in all life and service.

The apostle Paul says in 2 Co 12:7 .....even considering the exceptional character of the revelation. Therefore, to keep me from being too elated, a thorn was given in the flesh, a messenger of satan to torment me, to keep me from being too elated.

Mostly, when I read of visions and revelations they fall so very short of either of these two conditions. Kat Kerr and her ridiculous trips to Heaven and back come to mind. There are many others. People have always had a penchant for being the possessors of secret information. The Q Anon movement comes to mind but much, much bigger and more relevant than that is just plain old gossip. Why is gossip so juicy? Why do people love to do it so much even knowing how destructive it is? Because it gives people a sense of superiority. They have knowledge others don't and they love to share that information because it makes them look like they are the "keepers of the Oracles". They are the esoteric ones. The special few who have the inside knowledge. One of the biggest enemies the apostle Paul had to combat were the Gnostics. We still see them present in today's modern church. More than ever, we need to be good Bereans! We need to test absolutely everything against the Word of God. We are at the final moments in Church history and the enemy is fully aware of it. If anything, these modern day Gnostics will be seen more and more and so we need to focus on only Jesus more and more.

Well said, brother!

We cannot glory in apprehended knowledge but rather the giver and author of all knowledge!

In need of balance and perspective, we must constantly ask, who am I?!
