Isaiah 55:12-13 “Nothing touches me that hasn’t passed through the hand of my Heavenly Father. Nothing! Everything I endure is designed to prepare me for serving others more effectively. Everything!” -Dr. Chuck Swindoll Matthew 6:19-21 Storing up treasures isn't a bad thing. So long as they are Heavenly treasures. I love this verse as well. How exciting to know that after salvation, as we go through the justification and purification process, we can accrue "treasures" in Heaven! And the best way to accomplish this is to "treasure" what He treasures! 19 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.
9 He will not always accuse,
nor will he keep his anger forever.
10 He does not deal with us according to our sins,
nor repay us according to our iniquities.
11 For as the heavens are high above the earth,
so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him;
12 as far as the east is from the west,
so far he removes our transgressions from us.
13 As a father has compassion for his children,
so the Lord has compassion for those who fear him.
14 For he knows how we were made;
he remembers that we are dust."
