Whether we speak of the unending rapturous joys of Heaven, or we speak of Hell fire and brimstone, an extremely huge contrast is set before us!

On this basis alone, there doesn't seem to be an issue with regards to choosing between one or the either.

That would be like having a choice between winning a huge lottery pay out, or getting poked in the eye with stick.  Seems to me like a no brainer.  But fear and doubt surely clouds and muddies the choice.

Even if Mr. Spock could make this argument with all the logic and rationale available, he would be surprised and astonished at the greater number who would opt for a stick in the eye!

Given the blinding deceptions of Satan and not having benefit of the Holy Spirit's conviction and leading, choosing of eternal life still seems to be an apparent conundrum for many.   Oh the shortsightedness of us humans!

But the initial point of this thread is to show how choosing life, is choosing a relationship with the One called the Truth, the Way and the Life!   And choosing death is done by forsaking Christ!  This is why He is called the Gate.  For any other entrance into Heaven than by Christ is for robbers, liars and thieves!

This is not exclusivity, but truly the only way!

Late last night I was reading an article someone posted on RITA facebook side about the warnings of teen sensational singer, Billie Eilish.  Wow, talk about someone who is demon possessed.  Sadly she is a very popular idol for the young teenagers.  Her latest youtube is “All the Good Girls Go to Hell” and the first line in the song is “My Lucifer is lonely”.   Yikes!  Talk about mind control and glorifying hell and making it seem like that’s the place you want to be vs. heaven.   She also promotes suicide so no wonder there are so many teens thinking their life is meaningless and ending it.

I was so unaware of how dark the music is now a days ... satan is having a field day.  First Madonna was shocking, then Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, and I’m sure I’m missing a few ... and now its this 18 yr old, Billie Eilish.  Each “star” that rises just gets more sinister for the world to follow.  Truly sad times.

It surprises me how many people think religion or a relationship with God is something they can take or leave.  Even folks in their 90's, you would think they would be concerned about their eternal destiny, but they are not.  Often it's because their families were atheists.

I feel led to pray for everyone in the whole world that they would hear the gospel somehow--by TV, radio, internet, pastors, evangelists, Christian tracts, dreams, visions--and accept Jesus as their savior.  They may have no one else to pray for them, and Heaven would be lesser without them.  I think the Lord wants a big family up there!!

Well said Patricia.  Intercession is key at this point in time!  Once again, I can be fooled by others and even by Satan, but God forbid however that I be self deceived!  For herein lies our greatest adversary, IMHO.

Hopefully, there will be enough regret and remorse to cause many to come to Christ during the tribulation.  Sadly however, from what I read in the scriptures, much of the world will unite to fight the living God in the Valley of Decision!

That said, the time for interceding for the souls of men is now!
