I still have my air popcorn popper from the 1980’s. I read the bag microwave popcorn contains harmful toxins that will eventually cause cancer. Someone in work nuked it too long and the whole bag was burnt and the fumes were awful. I had to open up the windows. I was teaching a class. One student put fish in the microwave. the fish overcooked and the whole classroom smelled like fish. It was a bad smell and there was also some smoke. we had to leave the classroom. I told a friend. he laughed. that was a few years ago, when I talk to him he still asks: anything new at work? anymore students cooking fish?
