I remember after some 50 years of being shut down by Christians wh0 refused to discuss the rapture being dismayed and sad. As I was licking my wounds, I heard the Spirit speaking to me. He said with regards to the Rapture, "let no man steal that treasure which I have hid in thine heart"! I immediately knew that the Lord was speaking of the Rapture. Secondly, I had a picture in my minds eye of God sitting on His throne bending over out of Heaven to whisper this message into my ear! :rose: Never thought of God whispering before, and though that was so cool. That just made it so special and tender, and that God was aware. :prayer-hands: All the experiences of divine intervention that I've experienced and recently shared on RITAN is not to lift myself up in any way, but rather to brag on God! :bye: TR How marvelous are His ways, His wonders to perform! Indeed many have heard that still small voice, or had thoughts and words planted into our spirits. Or have God speak into situations! Some have even been blessed with angelic words, but I have never heard anyone speak of God's literally whispering before! He who has spoken the worlds into existence and can even make the rocks on the road to cry out, can indeed speak to anyone! How comforting and reassuring. Begging the question then. How has God spoken to You?! TR Spoken. well I can tell you beyond a doubt He has called me back when I was disobeying . When my path was going the wrong way the Lord has in no uncertain terms used the Holy Spirit to bring me back to the path of His way. I have repented and returned to Jesus love and care for me. It was like being grabbed and hugged by a loving parent when a child makes a mistake. I am His child, never lost my faith, ever. Faith , I have never lost my faith and my Father in heaven has never left me. Isn't it wonderful how the Lord personalizes His love for each of us. God is ever mindful that we are but only dust. Yet, He deals with us as something precious in His sight. Truly, the Lord corrects, calls, entices and woo's those he loves! TR I am reminded of my first girlfriend's mother. She was a Jehovah's witness. But some 50 yrs later, I can still hear her say... I am a child of God! Love may not always make sense or be expedient, it rarely does. But that is the glory of love, especially divine Love! :rose: TR
