Scores of workers at a Houston hospital system have been suspended and face being fired for refusing the COVID-19 vaccination, a controversial company mandate that has drawn protests and an outcry from those facing termination.
Having been subjected to an illegal global lockdown of peoples and world economies, have been forced to wear anti-science face masks, a new battlefield has now opened up. That new battlefield is whether or not people have the right to refuse to be injected with Bill Gates favorite substance, mRNA vaccines. Welcome to ‘death in the pot’.

178 health care workers suspended from Houston Methodist hospital system for refusing COVID-19 vaccination

FROM USA TODAY: Houston Methodist CEO Marc Boom said the 178 workers represent less than 1% of almost 25,000 employees. “We are nearly 100% compliant with our COVID-19 vaccine mandate,” Boom said in an email to staff Tuesday. “Houston Methodist is officially the first hospital system in the country to achieve this goal for the benefit of its patients.”

Boom said that 27 of the 178 suspended workers have received one dose of vaccine and that he is hopeful they will get the second dose. All are suspended for two weeks and are set to be fired if they fail to be fully vaccinated.

”I wish the number could be zero, but unfortunately, a small number of individuals have decided not to put their patients first,” Boom said. An additional 285 employees received a medical or religious exemption, and 332 were granted deferrals for pregnancy and other reasons, Boom said.

“I feel betrayed a little bit,” Amanda Rivera told KHOU-TV as she left the building Monday. “I worked in the ER. It was crazy during the pandemic. We were short-staffed. The hospital was over capacity with patients. It was just a lot. Now for them to come and do this is like a slap in the face.”

Hospital workers across the nation risked their lives during the pandemic, and many died of the virus. Yet a recent USA TODAY survey of some of the largest hospital networks and public hospitals in the country reveal staff vaccination rates vary widely, from 51% to 91%.

Last week, Indiana University Health announced that it would require its 36,000 employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19 by September, calling the mandate a “safe and effective way to protect patients” and protect the community.

“Requiring vaccinations for health care employees is not new or unprecedented,” IU Health said in a statement.

Hundreds of colleges and universities are requiring vaccinations for the coming school year. Many nursing homes, hot spots early in the pandemic, also are requiring inoculation from the coronavirus.

The Houston Methodist controversy “foreshadows the coming months,” said Ogbonnaya Omenka, an associate professor and public health specialist at Butler University in Indianapolis. Mandates that may seem like the obvious choice to many people must be “implemented within a human context,” he told USA TODAY.

“I’ve been an acute care nurse for several years and many nurses and doctors I know - including myself have refused this so called vaccine. My mother’s dr. got it a couple months ago and told us he now has severe chronic fatigue. My 80 year young mom had the virus with fever and cough - recovered well and now has a high count of natural God given antibodies against the virus. Sadly, I envision every medical facility requiring mandatory walk the plank jabs.”

“This is my hospital!! I worked there for many, many years. If you look at the sign in the last pic it said Houston Methodist Baytown. My agency jobs I had on the side took me to hospitals all over Houston but Houston Methodist Baytown was my home. For many years, and not only as a nurse, I’ve been a frequent patient there. I did my nursing clinical there back many years ago, I gave birth to my daughter there! It breaks my heart to see this happening. They’re a tight family.

They have an incredible staff and I’m still in close touch with lots of the nurses. This feels like a knife in my heart! I cried when I first saw the picket line on the news. I can understand why admin wants to ensure patient safety, etc. but if they would open their eyes and acknowledge the truth they don’t want to know, this would all be different.

What do I say to my friends? One of my dearest friends who was fully vaccinated from the word go only to lose her husband 2 weeks ago to covid? What can I even say to her? I’m 100% behind those who are protesting this vaccine. They should have that right.

It sure hits close to home now. I really hope the judge will rule in their favor so the hospital can’t fire them.”

I may soon be faced with the same horrible decision, take the jab or walk away from a successful healthcare career that has always been driven by “patients first”.  I will be unemployed and will loose my earthly home, but I pray that Christ calls his bride home soon :prayer-hands:

At my office, the rule is now...either get the vax or wear the mask. At least the vax isn't mandatory but sadly I will be pointed out while still wearing a mask as one who has not been vaxxed. I am hopeful we are out of here soon....but if not I will trust God has a plan...maybe I will just do home visits or something as a contract worker?? Who knows? Thankfully the Lord has a plan....He always has, Im just hoping it has more to do with that leaving flight 777 homeward bound! :prayer-hands:

May the Lord protect and guide those who have chosen not to receive the experimental medical procedure.

It's going to get increasingly hostile for those who will not submit. The Rapture can't come soon enough! Maranatha!
