The song is literally a call to insurrection and war, to revolution. Since the beginning of the movement of opposition, historical symbols have flourished in the demonstrations: revolutionary, republican, royalist, Napoleonic, regional flags, flags from the 1940 Resistance. Macron is now facing protesters that see themselves as resistance fighters leading historical or even millenarian crusade. In my humble opinion the movement is gaining momentum, growing in numbers and inspiring other european countries. Pro and anti-vaxxers are marching together against the vaccine passports.
