Seems to me, imho, at "best" this will prove to be a significant incremental step towards a one-world totalitarian government.

On a related but different note, I agree with 2nd Coming that it does seem like the current environment defies the "as it was in the days of Noah"/business-as-usual description that the scripture speaks of before sudden destruction shows up.  That makes me wonder if this is a last attempt by the Lord to warn/wake the world up, before some sense of normalcy returns just prior to the harpazo.

At the risk of stating the obvious, this can be a stressful time for all of us.  However, for those of us who struggle with asperger-esque tendencies that make change of routine even more difficult, this is quite disruptive.  Makes me want to scream at God, "Stop moving my cheese!"

I think the something different you may be referring to has to do with the timing of it all.  I think that it is a spiritual harbinger of even worse things to come!

Awe yes! We will be changed, in a moment in the twinkling of an eye....this imperfect must put on the perfect and this mortal (hallelujah) must put on immortality... yes I know a squirrel moment from this main topic, but it seemed appropriate... Watchman, get ready for the grandest change of all - with unveiled face, we will see the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! Can’t get any better than that! :yahoo: :prayer-hands:

I hear ya ... I don’t have asperger’s but living alone frightens me whenever things aren’t calm.  I have nobody human to talk to while these calamities unfold. I’m also frightened of snowstorms and long power outages from wind storms.  Now add on the latest calamities of food shortages and if fuel deliveries might be behind schedule ... my mind wonders to “what if” these shortages eventually triggers home robberies or muggings on the streets?

I never had this fear before when I lived with people.  Fortunately the other day when I was going into a fear attack ... I looked up at the moon and saw the cross rays shining out and the Lord immediately gave me His peace and settled down my fears.

We are told “as in the days of Noah” ... well his days were filled with violence  ... “And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.”

We don’t know how long this crisis will last ... perhaps this will be the every day norm from here on out until the rapture happens?  The problem is there are many that are hoarding waaay to many things and then trying to sell them on the internet at high prices to take advantage of people for a profit.  Fortunately they are cracking down on people like this guy ...

He Has 17,700 Bottles of Hand Sanitizer and Nowhere to Sell Them

On March 1, the day after the first coronavirus death in the United States, brothers Matt and Noah Colvin set out in a silver SUV to pick up some hand sanitizer. Driving around Chattanooga, Tennessee, they hit a Dollar Tree, then a Walmart, a Staples and a Home Depot. At each store, they cleaned out the shelves.

Over the next three days, Noah Colvin took a 1,300-mile road trip across Tennessee and into Kentucky, filling a U-Haul truck with thousands of bottles of hand sanitizer and thousands of packs of antibacterial wipes, mostly from “little hole-in-the-wall dollar stores in the backwoods,” his brother said. “The major metro areas were cleaned out.”

Matt Colvin stayed home near Chattanooga, preparing for pallets of even more wipes and sanitizer he had ordered, and starting to list them on Amazon. Colvin said he had posted 300 bottles of hand sanitizer and immediately sold them all for between $8 and $70 each, multiples higher than what he had bought them for. To him, “it was crazy money.” To many others, it was profiteering from a pandemic.

The next day, Amazon pulled his items and thousands of other listings for sanitizer, wipes and face masks. The company suspended some of the sellers behind the listings and warned many others that if they kept running up prices, they’d lose their accounts. EBay soon followed with even stricter measures, prohibiting any U.S. sales of masks or sanitizer.

Now, while millions of people search in vain for hand sanitizer to protect themselves from the spread of the coronavirus, Colvin is sitting on 17,700 bottles of the stuff with little idea where to sell them.

“It’s been a huge amount of whiplash,” he said. “From being in a situation where what I’ve got coming and going could potentially put my family in a really good place financially to ‘What the heck am I going to do with all of this?’”

Colvin is one of probably thousands of sellers who have amassed stockpiles of hand sanitizer and crucial respirator masks that many hospitals are now rationing, according to interviews with eight Amazon sellers and posts in private Facebook and Telegram groups from dozens more. Amazon said it had recently removed hundreds of thousands of listings and suspended thousands of sellers’ accounts for price gouging related to the coronavirus.

Tomorrow, Tomorrow ”the trial” vaccine starts on the people in Seattle Washington ...

Coronavirus vaccine trial to start Monday in Seattle
Public health officials say it will take a year to 18 months to fully validate any potential vaccine for COVID-19.
Arutz Sheva Staff 3/16/20

A clinical trial evaluating a vaccine designed to protect against the new coronavirus will begin Monday, a government official told The Associated Press on Sunday.

The first participant in the trial will receive the experimental vaccine on Monday, the official said, speaking on the condition of anonymity because the trial has not been publicly announced yet.

The National Institutes of Health is funding the trial, which is taking place at the Kaiser Permanente Washington Health Research Institute in Seattle, the official said.

Public health officials say it will take a year to 18 months to fully validate any potential vaccine.

Testing will begin with 45 young, healthy volunteers with different doses of shots co-developed by NIH and Moderna Inc. There is no chance that participants could get infected from the shots, because they do not contain the virus itself.

The goal is purely to check that the vaccines show no worrisome side effects, setting the stage for larger tests, according to AP.

Dozens of research groups around the world are racing to create a vaccine as COVID-19 cases continue to grow. Importantly, they’re pursuing different types of vaccines — shots developed from new technologies that not only are faster to produce than traditional inoculations but might prove more potent.

Some researchers even aim for temporary vaccines, such as shots that might guard people’s health a month or two at a time while longer-lasting protection is developed.

Last Thursday, Medicago, a biopharmaceutical company headquartered in Quebec City, Canada, announced it had successfully produced a Virus-Like Particle (VLP) of the coronavirus.

Production of the VLP is the first step in developing a vaccine for COVID-19 which will now undergo preclinical testing for safety and efficacy. Once this is completed, Medicago expects to discuss with the appropriate health agencies to initiate human trials of the vaccine by July or August of 2020, the company said.
