If you did start a fruitcake thread … I would be out numbered again B-) since I REALLY LOVE good fruitcake that is made correctly. I admit I found one bad kind … at the food bank earlier this year … and I had to toss it in the trash … it was THAT pitiful bad. And they were selling them in this one Christmas catalog for $45.00! Oy Vey! I don’t understand what went wrong … somebody goof in their kitchen 101 follow the recipe. Just wasn’t traditional fruitcake every fruitcake lover enjoys and savors. The gold tins it came in were worth saving … so all wasn’t lost. I wonder how many in heaven will love fruitcake and will there be fruitcake club festivals with tea?
