This is Sean Osborne @ Eschatology Today take on the disaster in Beirut

He doesn’t feel IDF is responsible for the disaster.  IDF was only doing direct hits in Syria.

August 4th
The IDF has confirmed.

"In response to an attempted IED attack near the security fence between Syria & Israel last night, we just struck SAF targets in Syria including:

Direct hit observation posts
Direct hit intel collection systems
Direct hit anti-aircraft artillery
Direct hit command & control systems

We hold Syria responsible."

Sean references ... Joshua 13:1-7  ... in the NIV it has the title ... “Land still to be taken”  so I guess this still wasn’t fulfilled?

Land Still to Be Taken
When Joshua had grown old, the Lord said to him, “You are now very old, and there are still very large areas of land to be taken over.

“This is the land that remains: all the regions of the Philistines and Geshurites, from the Shihor River on the east of Egypt to the territory of Ekron on the north, all of it counted as Canaanite though held by the five Philistine rulers in Gaza, Ashdod, Ashkelon, Gath and Ekron; the territory of the Avvites on the south; all the land of the Canaanites, from Arah of the Sidonians as far as Aphek and the border of the Amorites; the area of Byblos; and all Lebanon to the east, from Baal Gad below Mount Hermon to Lebo Hamath.

As for all the inhabitants of the mountain regions from Lebanon to Misrephoth Maim, that is, all the Sidonians, I myself will drive them out before the Israelites. Be sure to allocate this land to Israel for an inheritance, as I have instructed you, and divide it as an inheritance among the nine tribes and half of the tribe of Manasseh.”

Sean’s comments continue ...

NOT fireworks! It was Iranian ordnance for Hezb and nitrate storage.

US Embassy Beirut says reports of toxic gas in the area of today's massive explosions in the port area. Locals advised to shelter indoors and wear masks.

About the Beirut Port Disaster

Hezbollah and the IRGC are under no illusions because they know they caused the explosion at Beirut port by their own negligence.

They have been negligent in the handling and storage of volatile aluminum nitrate explosives and other mutitions (i.e. the reported fireworks) at this site for many years. Since 2014 at a minimum.

Details:

In 2018 the IDF made public their concerns about this site in releasing surveillance imagery with detailed analysis of the risks posed to the immediate civilian neighborhood, infrastructure, the port itself and Hariri Airport (source of the aircraft seen in some videos).

Thereafter, Hassan Nasrallah released a video of himself 'theorizing' about a "nuclear like' explosion occurring in Haifa port, just as the Beirut port explosion appeared to all who witnessed it yesterday. Ironic to say the least.

Hezbollah and the IRGC are 100% responsible for the Beirut Port disaster. They know it. Israel knows it, and so does the U.S.A.

2,750 metric tons.

That's more than 6 MILLON pounds.

WHY were Iran and Hezbollah storing that much ammonium nitrate, for as long as they stored it, in one location with other munitions if not for terror operations?

Yep, as mentioned, when this first blew up — no pun intended — my poor pea brain went —- hmmmmm that was a pretty big explosion with a lot of aftermath to be a fireworks warehouse and then a fertilizer storage from a Russian ship —- yeah right! B-)  The games people play! They probably should get a clue — God will win this kind of games! :prayer-hands:

Kind of thought so.  It's blow up your own city and then try to place the blame on Israel.  Things are heating up,  quickly. ?

Were thinking wrongly here.

Who wants Beirut? Hamas, Hezbollah, Turkey, Iran.

Who has a port in Beirut? Russia. Who wants a larger presence in Lebanon? Russia.

I think this was a controlled explosion from either Russia, Iran or Turkey.

Who has the capability to pull this off? Russia - Iran maybe but doubtful - Turkey maybe but doubtful.
