So apologize if this is a duplicate—- crazy phone issues I never watched the series, lived some of that stuff as a kid. I’m actually related to both as my Mom and Dad are third cousins to each other, on from one side and one from the other. Truth be known, neither was right, drunk hotheads is what I was taught! Over a pig, really!!!! And later over moonshine stills, my grandfather had a still :mdrmdr: smelled an awful lot like rubbing alcohol that was overdone  Family reunions were a trip, some heavy horse shoe playing, heavy drinking, no guns allowed, seriously! Cousins galore, running amuck.. my grandfather hosted a few and he had a small horse farm, thus my love of horses was born, should have been a large animal vet (I have a few cousins who are). As for tea bags bursting, you boil water first, turn off heat and place the bags in to seep. I’ve not ever had bags burst. The sun tea gets just the right tea color and then it’s brought in the chill. LOL … what wild family reunions that must have been! I wonder “if any” amongst the original patriarch / matriarch families living during 1863 - 1891 family feud years might have gotten saved? Because there happened to be Robert Sheffey, an evangelist circuit preacher, that traveled by horseback (during the years 1854 - 1902). He had a burden for the people living in the Appalachian mountain regions of S.W. Virginia, Southern West Virginia and Eastern Tennessee. So perhaps you could have a few long distance relatives from both sides of the families up in heaven? Probably, as many of my aunts, uncles, & cousins from both sides came from faithful Southern Baptist & prior just regular Baptist backgrounds. Most in my generation are very “religious” but .... we will soon see :prayer-hands:
