From our sister site on Facebook, posted by Pete Garcia and written by Mike Mullin: Great article and very thought provoking. I've had many thoughts over the past year about all of those who I know who will be left behind and the sadness that it brings when I think about the pain that they will suffer and how easily they can change their outcomes by just accepting and following Jesus. Its just mind numbing to me to think that people are so blind to the facts. I've always hoped that there would be a massive revival in the US but I'm just not seeing that as we rush towards a society that embraces everything that Jesus is not. As someone who has a Bachelors, Masters, and PhD its clear to me what the truth is - and how unfathomable it is to not be aware of what is yet to come. I'm still hoping for more earthquakes, volcanos, and asteroids to wake people up. None of my biological family is saved. They look at me like I am from another planet if I mention Jesus. Heavenly Father, You are all knowing and know our hearts inside and out. You desire that all people would come to salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Many of us have loved ones that have not accepted Your free gift of salvation. We humbly ask you that you draw them to Yourself through the Holy Spirit. By any means necessary. Shake them, wake them and make them children of God Most High. Use us as You will in this process. Give us wisdom, compassion and the words to speak. In Jesus' precious, wonderful Name, Amen. :prayer-hands: I don't think earthquakes, volcanos, and asteroids will wake people up. They will just think it's climate change. So convenient, every time we mention end-time events, they have a ready answer. If we all just stopped driving cars, eating meat, using gas and oil, etc., we could fix the climate. I spoke to my son today who went to a Christian elementary and middle school. I asked him if he and his wife planned on taking their kids to Sunday School. No. I mentioned that the Covid vaccine may eventually turn into the Mark of the Beast. He, of course, didn't believe that. And, he thinks looking for the rapture is a waste of time since "no one knows the day or hour" and every generation thought they were the one to see Jesus come in the sky. There are many pastors and evangelists who believe there will be a great awakening before the Tribulation. I personally don't see it, not in America at least.
