Did anybody see this video? I never saw it... Did you ever hear about Jim Woodford? Never heard of him before.. Wow what a story! When he said God forgive me, it made me cry, and when he said God please help me, that made me cry too.. Watch the video, and of course practice discernment.. Smile

Sorry,  but I am not sure that NDE's accounts can be trusted in as valid. I first ask, could this be some kind of dream he had, or experience while unconscious?  The Bible in 2 Cor 5 tells us that the believer when absent (at death) from the body is present with the Lord.  It doesn't say in some cases oop's, you have to turn around and go back to your earthly life.

Thanks for sharing it Sonya.

Indeed many can be suspect, but God is able to build a testimony for Himself!

If God could reveal Christ, why not Heaven?!

Yeah, we have to be really cautious. If they contradict the Bible, then we have to automatically reject them. If they don't contradict the Bible, well then we don't need them.

NDEs shouldn't be used to bolster our faith. The Bible is enough.

There is a saying, "He said it. I believe it. That settles it," which is incorrect. It should "He said it. That settles it."

I am not saying the man is not sincere or that he is lying but if it wasn't lawful for the Apostle Paul to speak of what he saw in the third heaven, I can't see how God would pick some random 21st century person to do it.

2 Corinthians 12:1-4

New King James Version

The Vision of Paradise

12 It is doubtless not profitable for me to boast. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord: 2 I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago—whether in the body I do not know, or whether out of the body I do not know, God knows—such a one was caught up to the third heaven. 3 And I know such a man—whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows— 4 how he was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

I can't see how some person outside of the Biblical account could be the exception to scripture:

John 3:13

New King James Version

13 No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven.

Anyway, that's my opinion. As a fallible human, I reserve the right to be totally wrong.
