I believe there will be 7 or 8 temples. The first was the Tabernacle in the wilderness. The second was Solomon's temple. The third was the rebuilt temple after the return from Babylon. The fourth was Herod's temple. (While not new, it was extensively renovated.) The fifth is us believers. We are the temple of the Holy Spirit. The sixth (the number of man) is the Tribulation temple. The 7th is the Millennial temple. In eternity, the 8th temple will be the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb. 8 is the number of new beginnings. Revelation 21:22 22 I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. So, there will be/are 7 or 8 temples depending on whether you classify Herod's temple as a seperate one or not. David, I know many believe that sacrifices will resume during the 1000 year reign, but I do not hold to that theory as Christ is the ultimate sacrifice. My opinion  Yet we will see, won’t we and it will be beautiful whatever God deems. Arthur, you appear to be speaking of apples and oranges … the temple is both a spiritual abode and then there is the actual physical structure that God allowed to be built and completely destroyed as Christ said it would be. So I will agree to disagree with you brother, but then we will soon see and it will be grand indeed :prayer-hands: During the millenial reign sacrifices will be made! Will this still include animals at least on the part of mortals?! TR Yes, there are spiritual and physical temples. The physical mirrors the spiritual like many things in the Bible. There definitely will be a physical temple during the Millennium. I believe the Word of God is quite clear on that. https://israelmyglory.org/article/the-millennial-temple/ In eternity, Almighty God and the Lamb of God will be our temple. Can't wait for that day! :yahoo:
