TR It brought a smile to my heart to see the date 28AD because I've been thinking about this for so long, and remembering Joshua 3 about there being a space of about 2000 cubits between when the priests set out to cross the Jordan ahead of the people. I thought Jesus was about 30 years old in 28AD when His ministry began (Luke 3:21-23), to show the people the way to cross from death to life with God. But the date of Herod's death which was commonly said to be in 4BC put a monkey wrench in my wishful thinking. But then, I read that there was another eclipse, one in 1BC, so the date of 28AD is possible for when Jesus started ministry. In Zechariah 1, the Lord spoke to Zechariah ("the word of the Lord") that He saw a man on a horse with horses behind him. the Lord tells an angel that He is angry with the nations who are at ease who have made the situation worse for His people, for Jerusalem and Israel. Many nations are making decisions now that support the enemies of Israel, they support the division of Israel. The nations support false gods having a foothold in Jerusalem. In Zechariah's account, the nations are at rest. In our time, something is going to change for there to be enough rest for the third temple to be built. something like :flyup: and suppression of violence will happen, and the two witnesses and 144,000 will take their places on time. There is going to be a measuring line again, for when the third temple gets built. It would be great if we could be with the Lord this year, then the world thinking peace and God's work to bring Israel to saving faith unroll. In Zechariah 1, the account happens on the 24th day of the 11th month. On the "creator's calendar" that is calculated with a full moon being the first day of a month, the 24th day of the 11th month is Feb 21 this year. an anniversary day of the prophet's hearing the Lord.
