The cashiers here are getting lazy ... effective July 1st the new law for our state is no more plastic bags (even as thin as they are and break very easily, they claim they are not decaying and we must “save the planet” is their motto) Seriously, what will they do when the Rider of the horses come out of the starter gates ... So ... if you need paper bags you must pay for them or buy their store cloth/plastic reusable ones or bring in your own. Of course, if you use any of the above ... the cashier then is not required to bag anything. They got it so easy now. Well today my groceries came to $30.85 and the lazy cashier complained I was giving him cash ... I even gave him the exact change ... the 85 cents I placed on the conveyor belt and he said “he couldn’t pick that up”. So I picked up the change and said do you want me to walk around and place in your cash register? Then he gave a big sigh and finally extended both hands and I drop the change so it landed in his gloved hands. The lady before me was trying to pay by credit card and the machine took forever to process. I don’t know what they are going to do when they ban all cash ... there is no guarantee the electronic transfer will be working all the time especially in power outages, cyber attacks, etc. I’m so glad we are leaving soon ... its getting to the point where its not fun shopping and seeing people. Most people now are aloof/afraid/and cranky ... NTEB has an article on the coin shortage. Notice the Wendy's sign. "Change is necessary. " Just another subliminal message in regards to the upcoming "great reset" where they intend to get rid of cash. In a way, they are right. Change is necessary. It's time to evict the squatters from this earth, demolish the wicked world system and for Almighty God to bring in His Kingdom. :yahoo: Geri7, They tried that same crap where I live at the beginning of the year. But then when the planned demic started they stopped it because they didn't want people bringing old/used/dirty/contaminated bags back into the store in case it had the deadliest virus known in the universe on it. Donna, I'm sure you right! God is and has confirmed firstly that 2020 is the year, through many saints! "Sooner than we think" does seem to be His latest affirmation! He is and will continue quickening our spirits with His truth! So looking forward to meeting all the saints here at RITAN! For as we enter the garden of prayer and all is hushed, He shall whisper into each of our ears and satisfy the longing of our hearts! TR Not all doom and gloom. Laughter does the heart good. Lol.
