Indeed we can be wary for many good reasons!

I agree Christ as the Son, God incarnate, and He being the truth, the only way, and life eternal is foundational!

Point is, I'm not asking the guy to go steady!

It looks like that Irvin Baxter guy @ End Times Ministry also doesn’t believe in the Trinity.

His website states this ...

God
There is one God who created all things. In order to save us, He became man. Jesus Christ was God in flesh, Emmanuel — God with us.

Read: Matthew 1:23

Behold , a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a. son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being. interpreted is, God with us.

- Fair Use -

————————

He clearly leaves out the Holy Spirit ... so I wonder how does he scoot around  all the passages about the Holy Spirit?  Here are just a few ...

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.   2 Corinthians 3:17

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.   Matthew 28:19-20

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.  1 Corinthians 6:19-20

—————

It makes me wonder can a person truly be saved if they don’t believe in the Trinity Godhead??

As the scripture says, a word can be spoken against the Father and even the Son, but none will be tolerated against the Holy Spirit!

Much to be gleaned here!

Being saved it seems to me isn't about high marks in Theology 101!

Last minute concverts and converts from other Faith's don't always have opportunity to bone up on doctrinal issues. Especially martyr's!

But receiving and loving Christ always works!

I like to watch Dr. Barry, like a game show or comedy act.... I find what he says interesting but do my own research to validate.... I also listen to Jan Markel, Amir, JD, Jack Hibbs, Gary Stearman, Joel Joseph, Five Doves sight, Now the End Begins, Zero Hedge, Israeli News, Jerusalem Post, so many sights, articles, watch weather patterns, star movements,  I even visit Twitter .... no FB .... but above all, I read, study, and memorize God’s Word, allowing the Holy Spirit to speak to my soul His truth....Amazing how the Holy Spirit validates some thing and moves other thing aside ....  I have disagreed with a few of the above listed folks off and on ... disagree about not knowing the day and hour, lean towards Joel Joseph on his thoughts about that, disagree with some on waiting or hanging on that WWIII must happen first .... we are to be about the Father’s business, remain faithful, watch, pray, be aware of world events, no fear, just faith, no worry, just worship, expect the Trumpet call any moment. It is just so exciting to see all of this coming about! :popcorn :popcorn :popcorn :popcorn :prayer-hands:

I think it is possible to be saved and not understand the Triune nature of God. One, as noted already, does not have to be a theologian to be reconciled to God. There will be people from every tribe, tongue and nation that have simply believed in the gospel and put their faith and trust in Jesus for their salvation and have only rudimentary knowledge theologically.

However, once you are saved and you start to study God’s word, you absolutely will come to an understanding that God is Triune in nature. This is basic, foundational knowledge. If you can’t get that right, you have no business teaching anyone about anything Biblical.

Therefore, IMHO, Barry Awe should not be promoted on this forum.

However, I have said enough and do not wish to derail this thread. Now back to my grumpiness.

Bless your heart brother!  I truly admire the strength of your convictions.  You arguments are duly noted!

I agree, we cannot esteem one man's teachings  over solid and foundational truths!

Truth being we have to glean what we can and test truth presented!  For sure!

Thank you, TR. You are always gracious and I can see our Blessed Lord working through you.

Blue, I regret my bluntness. I do feel strongly about the subject but I must do everything in love. If I have failed at that, I am sorry. 🙁

We are all a work in progress.  There is a discussion over on the Facebook RITAN about John MacArthur's wrong teachings too. I go to a very sound church, but every week I find something to be critical of.  There is probably something wrong with the following website too, but I think it is a good explanation of the new moon and the twinkling of an eye.  The new moon is the dark moon, so on the 17th.  It is 14 days after the full moon--so maybe even the 16th since the full moon is supposed to be on the 2nd. The twinkling of an eye is the moment the sun, moon and earth are aligned.  I was glad to have Dr. Awe bring this up because I had always heard it had something to do with the moment before sunset.  If the groom comes at midnight, the sunset explanation never made sense to me.
