Zechariah 11:10

Zechariah 11:10 And I took my staff, even Beauty, and cut it asunder, that I might break my covenant which I had made with all the people.

I have suggested the covenant in this verse is the covenant Jesus has made with the church. Do I have any scripture to support my claim that Jesus has made a covenant with the church? I do.

"pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass"

"Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world"

This is the covenant Jesus has made with his church. The church shall not suffer the 7 years tribulation. Jesus will keep us from the hour of temptation, by rapturing us before the 7 years tribulation.

Having said this, when Jesus breaks this covenant, it also signals the church era and the age of grace comes to it's end. We are going home!!! Hallelujah!!!

But for the left behind, they shall face the old testament era. They need to keep their white robes washed and clean ( Revelation 7:14). It is their responsibility to keep their faith just like Abraham, the old testament saints did. Once saved always saved is gone. They are very different from us. We come to Christ by faith, by not seeing any evidence, but they come to Christ by witnessing the evidence.

One more note. "And I took my staff, even Beauty", Who is this "Beauty"? The church is the "Beauty", because this is how God sees the church, "beauty". We stand firm on our faith. This is why God calls us "Beauty".
