No more thoughtless people, careless words and people only absorbed in themselves

No more thoughtless people, careless words and people only absorbed in themselves

I wanted to say more when I wrote this but I did not have time. This is something I had to put up with a lot in my life and I am longing for the day I don't have to put up with this anymore.

Long time ago, I was in a war torn country and my siblings were in Europe. I was in a room taking shelter from the bombs.  A letter had arrived from my siblings. They were talking about all the fun stuff that they were doing and they included photos. I remember looking  at one of the photos:  they were in the snow,  throwing snow balls at each other, having the time of their lives. I remember very clearly my sister throwing a snow ball at somebody and laughing her head off.

maybe you can imagine how I felt sitting in that room, with bombs exploding, definitely scary and not fun, in my hand  the  letter from my siblings telling me all about the fun stuff they were doing and including photos

My siblings love me. It was not done to hurt me. However, even the best of people are so wrapped up in their  lives, what is going on in their lives,.................they totally don't think about what another person might be going through.

They go on about stuff they are doing, things happening in their  lives...........

If someone seemed bothered  but what they  are talking about, they don't seem  to notice it and just carry on..............

too many people do that and I am  so tired. I am tired of the selfishness of people, I am tried  of  people only wrapped up in themselves, ...........I am so ready to put that behind  me for eternity.

I gave the  example of my siblings because that was an extreme  case. I am not putting my siblings down. God knows how  much I love them. It  was just one big example I could give about the way people are and behave

I see dead animals on the road on a frequent basis. It is so sad. 🙁 It will be so nice when that is not a thing, anymore.

Plus watching animals struggle to survive is difficult to watch. Where I live it is currently -9 C (16 F) The resident hummingbird is up and flying around, as cranky as ever, cursing at me. Tough old bird. 😉

All of creation groans and yearns to be restored. Can't wait for that day.

Romans 8:18-25

New King James Version

From Suffering to Glory
18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19 For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. 20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; 21 because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. 23 Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body. 24 For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.

The hummingbirds are having their usual turf war today. I find it sad to watch them fight over a feeder when there is a much bigger threat out there. (The cold) It'll get down to -15 C (5F) tonight. They are wasting valuable energy fighting each other.

All the hummingbirds get mad at me too when I go out to check the feeder and bring it inside every few hours to let it thaw a bit. They don't seem to realize I am trying to help them.

I suppose it is kind of like us humans. Wasting energy fighting each other when we have a bigger enemy. Getting angry at the One who is helping us.
