I could only two stars. Polaris and Bethlehem!

In between dark clouds and lower in the sky!

Again, perhaps a harbinger of a Christmas Rapture!

Whether the star seen by the wise men was astronomical in nature or spiritual, it still heralded the Messiah's birth!

TR —- your 3-day sign. They are the closest today in conjunction. They can be seen until the first of the year, then they are too close to the sun to be seen. I’m ready, Freddy ... gotta go Joe ... scooten’ toot ... out-a-here Wally ... Scrammin’ Sam :mdrmdr: :mdrmdr: :prayer-hands: :flyup:

WE came out of a Christmas organ concert at 6pm to look up and see the 'Christmas Star' right over the church. Then we followed it going south all the way home. a Really spiritually moving night. I hope this is a 3 day heads up. Hope to see y'all soon!

Not too dash any hopes but the conjuncture does appear every 20 years, this great conjuncture is every 400 years apparently per the Rice University video. Dec 25, is the day man choose to celebrate the birth of our savior; although His birth is extremely important, His death and resurrection are the key to life, eternal life ... accept Christ = eternal heaven; reject Christ = eternal hell = man’s choice! The first holiday to celebrate in heaven won’t be a birth, death, or resurrection, but a wedding! :prayer-hands:

Yes I find it very intriguing how God set the planets to orbit .... The sun as the center of our universe ( can’t live without it) .... God is the center of our universe, can’t live without him either .... earth circles close the the sun .... we need to stay near the Father; Jupiter (a representative of Jesus) circles between us and Saturn (represents satan) ... Jesus protects us from satan .... Jupiter will always and has always “eclipsed” Saturn .. Jesus has won the victory over satan .... God is in the details. Ok, so maybe it’s a stretch, but I’ve seen greater stretches, that make less sense :mdrmdr: :calvin Besides why create Mars, Venus, Uranus, Neptune, Saturn, and Jupiter —- they are not required to make the earth go round —- several have multiple moons, we have one moon —- we all circle the Sun, just a bit of intrigue to mull over in the brain, God is so amazing in His design!

Yes brother and that is only in our galaxy, God created an entire multi-layered cosmic universe, unbelievable His great power and might, yet He cares about the tiniest creature and He knows all of mankind by name, dwells with us, as the Psalmist said in Psalm 139 - I am fearfully and wonderfully made, .... my soul knows it very well .... how vast are the sum of your thoughts ..... this is a great Psalm to know!

Also, He has a name for every star.

That, in itself, is absolutely amazing. :good:

Kornreich used a very rough estimate of 10 trillion galaxies in the universe. Multiplying that by the Milky Way's estimated 100 billion stars results in a large number indeed: 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars, or a "1" with 24 zeros after it (1 septillion in the American numbering system; 1 quadrillion in the European system). Kornreich emphasized that number is likely a gross underestimation, as more detailed looks at the universe will show even more galaxies.

Note: Ignore the evolutionary bias in the article if you read it.

Psalm 147

Praise to God for His Word and Providence
147 Praise the Lord!
For it is good to sing praises to our God;
For it is pleasant, and praise is beautiful.
2 The Lord builds up Jerusalem;
He gathers together the outcasts of Israel.
3 He heals the brokenhearted
And binds up their wounds.
4 He counts the number of the stars;
He calls them all by name.

Anyway, I saw the conjunction tonight and took some pictures. Pretty impressive. Smile
