When we can't fast and forego food for medical reasons, we can fast other things, seems to me! The idea being sacrificial living! TR Rather than self indulging, we offer it to the lord! But Jesus made it clear there was a certain power imbued for casting out of demons when fasting was enjoined! TR Yes, if we need help … JESUS’ mighty name is all that is needed if you are dealing with a spiritual battle and want instant relief. No fancy prayer or fasting. I used to go thru a prayer Dear Heavenly Father ……… but until I said in JESUS name, Amen … BAM instant relief. I silently called out JESUS and the next thing I felt a gust of wind come through the closed window … the wind was so great I could only squint my eyes and I could see white robes flying by … the next thing I heard the sound of swords fighting. I can vouch on that. :yes: Here is an example of an unsaved person that can not cast out demons … but a saved believer can with quoting Scripture and directing the lost to Jesus and if the unsaved that is possessed by demon(s) or into the occult is willing and want to become Born Again … then the demon(s) have to come out of them and the Holy Spirit takes up residence. Here is an example of demons that leave an unsaved person … but will return again and bring more evil spirits with him because … “he finds it empty” … the Holy Spirit is not residing in that lost person. But if the Holy Spirit is … then the demons can not return.
