I think we are most fortunate to be human.....angels have never gotten to experience God's grace. We have been able to experience truly unconditional and undeserving love. The angels have known His power and majesty all of their creation and we have learned it moment by moment. We have had to learn to trust Him with our heart, and watch Him move in some of the most subtle yet miraculous ways. Since they have always been in His presence they would not understand the concept of faith. While I will attest that this mortal life can have some brutal experiences.....I can honestly say that I have seen even more beauty, more promise and more hope than I have pain. I have seen and felt the Lord move in such ways that defy explanation and I am grateful for that. I am thankful for the Spirit and learning how to hear Him. I look forward to fellowship with the angels and to hear their stories and experiences of serving the Lord, however I am thankful that He allowed me be to be human. Just as I always enjoyed seeing my children excited and in awe of new and beautiful places and things, I think the Lord will enjoy that in us when we join Him, and the time is thankfully getting closer :amen: so just for argument sake, lets suppose that they are in charge of God’s physical creation and administer things like the wind, the rain etc. etc. If that's the case then the angel in charge of the weather over me is in for a rude awakening when we meet up! :mdrmdr: The concenus is that we stand in a better position than Angel's! Donna, you can be an earthly angel! TR Ditto … its May 3rd and I got the thermostat up full blast. We are now entering the 7 month of ... “winter” … 😳. Maybe …. perhaps if the rapture doesn’t happen in May … June will be “spring like” for us … or maybe not? 🤪 Amen Yohanan and Geri - I have often quipped, the reason that God does not have a complaint department for the weather is that He could not staff it for the sheer volume of complaints I would deliver! Bwahahahaha! I wouldn’t be me if I wasn’t griping about the weather, of course being a farmer, so much of my living depends on the weather and when it doesn’t cooperate it sure does make my life harder. Especially this time of year, we are entering into hay season, and it is so hard to get a cut of hay done these past few years - just when you think you have a good stretch of hot dry weather - here comes a unexpected thunderstorm to ruin a good cutting of hay. (Angels in heaven saying - “here goes this guy again - oy vey!)
