I appreciate the post Yohanan- it speaks volumes to what many of us feel. We can begin to relate to what Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 12:9 “But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”

We need to rejoice in where we are in our life that is left on this earth, be glad for our weaknesses and trials so that the power of our Savior is glorified through us, not because of us. :prayer-hands:

Bottom line — we are going home and much, much sooner than any of us realize. :prayer-hands:

I went through a period of some difficult depression, which was quite a mystery to me because I am a very happy go lucky type person. But I had it none the less. And I remember standing at the precipice looking over the edge into the abyss and the one thing that would keep me from going over was the thought that 30 seconds later having to tell Jesus why His Grace was not sufficient for me. His Grace really is sufficient for us in all things. Even when it seems all hope is lost, He will sustain us. It's astonishing how much He loves us and none of us really have any idea of how much He does.

He will never leave nor forsake!

If not Christmas Day, Nissan 10, then perhaps the last day of Israel's 73rd year!
