My prayer closet these days, is in my car!  I always pray driving or sitting still.

On a couple of occasions the Lord has directed me to park and just sit in silence before Him!

Sometimes, for hours!

Mostly I'm thanking God for His goodness.  Then when my heart is adequately position before the Lord, then I will share my petitions.

At times I just simply ask the Lord questions.  Eventually the Lord helps to lead my prayer, and then it becomes focused and specific!  Though I am in constant prayer, my formal player's must be in His will!

How about you?!

I often pray in the car too while driving, but with my eyes open. 😉

My prayer closet though is my bedroom on the 2nd floor.  On clear nights I can see the moon from my 2nd floor windows from when it gets dark to around 3:00 a.m. as I’m laying down on my bed.   It doesn’t matter what size the moon is - full, half, quarter or just a sliver ... the rays come out to form a cross.  This phenomenal sighting started happening when my mom was diagnosed with cancer in May 2010 and hasn’t stopped.  I think the Lord allows this to happen because I truly have nobody to share my burdens and problems with so I think He is letting me know He is there and listening. Winter months are usually full cloud coverage and if I had a really stressful day I often find myself asking Him if He could move the clouds away because I really need to see the beautiful cross and He does.  I then feel a sense of calm, peace and I no longer feel lonely.  If I’m on the first floor looking out or outside looking up at the sky ... it looks like a normal moon.

Thanks for sharing!  I have to keep reminding myself that it's not in my head.  But rather my spirit!
