Yes TR, I get that too! So many things I wish I had gotten done for the Lord.... so many wrong turns in the road taken! A life not without its scars of battles lost. Titus 2:12-13 is a verse, I wish I had learned very early in my Christian walk along with Hebrews 12:15, Proverbs 4:14-15 and finally Colossians 3:1-4. But I am forever grateful for His steadfast enduring love. This past week a lot of praying to God for His unshakable promise of eternity to those who love him, long for His appearing, and by faith trusting in the finished work of Calvary ... He chose us, He glories in us, we are His righteousness through Christ. :prayer-hands: God's grace opens the door and his forgiveness escorts in! TR Waiting to see what’s behind Door #1 :mdrmdr: Reminds me of Let’s Make A Deal. Well ... I’m almost positive there will never be a booby prize up in heaven ... only good things. Sorry for the thread jack. :rose: Can’t say we aren’t ... consistent, eh? 😉 All this talk of vegetables and no one mentions asparagus! Or grilled okra! mmmmmmmm! Two of my favorite veggies. Ok —- I can do the grilled asparagus (bring on the butter), but I am sorry, I have grown Okra, cooked it, but just can’t tolerate it in any shape or form .... :negative: Can I offer some. “Real” corn bread (NOT, corn cake), corn bread cooked in the iron skillet (only way to cook it and my kids grew up knowing, don’t put mom’s iron skillet in the soapy water EVER) —- yes, you are correct, I’m very much a Southern Girl at heart! Bring on the sweet tea, black-eyed peas cooked with ham-hocks! Pecan pie is also a specialty of mine per my family! I use a lot of iron pots and pans to cook with both at home and camping - best ever! Wonder if I can take mine with me :mdrmdr: :mdrmdr: . You know, George Washington’s mom put hers in her will, they are that valuable and that was the number one item packed in the movement westward in settling the country back in the day! Ok that is totally a squirrel moment! My apologies  😉
