Trust His Timing has the right idea!

But we do need some of those old time viddles to go with the old time religion!

What's an Italian doing eating okra?!  Must be southern Italian!

I went to the University of Tennessee Knoxville for my MS. The food down there is amazing. And Tammie is right; cornbread is best prepared in a cast iron skillet. Both the friendly people and the food in Tennessee are exceptional

Nope, Geri trust me on this one — try it Yohanan’s method of grilled — even the tomato will not get rid of the okra slime! :mdrmdr: :mdrmdr:

Beyond awesome, especially with butter on top! I love my corn bread ... up north where I have visited they typically serve corn cake - just nasty, way to sweet and sticky, not like corn bread at all in my humble opinion. Now I like many of my veggies raw, but a great French dish with egg plant, squash, onions, tomatoes, peppers, is Ratatouille— Oh my, I could eat a whole pot of that marvelous meal. Some times I have added a high quality beef, cut in small chunks and sautéed first — I should have been a chef instead of medicine! :mdrmdr: :mdrmdr: I’m going to have to work hard at the Romans 14 verse .... :mdrmdr: :mdrmdr:
