I was saved at the age of 16, coming from an atheistic background, that was a miracle in itself. I started my Christian walk in a Right-wing Fundamentalists church. About 1 year after I received Christ as my Savior, we had a Jack Van Impe crusade, that opened my eyes to prophecy and the rapture of the church. The church I was in and the Bible college I later attended, taught a pre-trib rapture of the Bride of Christ, so I suppose it has been with me as a foundation for about 50 years now. Like David, I also was introduced to Clarence Larkin during Bible college, I read Hal’s book, the Late Great Planet Earth, studied Daniel, Revelation, Ezekiel, and yes, well the whole Bible (required in Bible college :mdrmdr: ). over the years, I have continued my growing with learning about the Shemitah years, the birth of a nation in a day, watching the seasons, the seismic changes, studying the DNA of our creation in God’s image (we have God’s DNA, no wonder satan hates us and works so hard to try to erase it from humans), learning about the Jewish Bride traditions, and so much more, yet I feel that I still know very little. I am thinking that none of us saw the coming of the plannedemic and it’s implications … what more will we behold and live to see as the trumpet is sounding so very soon! :prayer-hands:

I became a born-again believer at 21. I am the only one in my (non- practising catholic French-Canadian) family as far as I know. When I was 4 or 5, when I went to bed, I would often think that I had to prepare to go to Heaven. I envisioned a tall ladder and I knew I had to be prepared to go (I thought I needed a bag of coins). As a teenager I found a thick paperback new testament that was ripped through the middle and I wondered how and why and who did it. For Christmas, I bought my father a book about the apocalypse, because I thought it was fascinating. After my salvation, I heard a bit about end-times events without realizing the different positions. I think Jack Van Impe made me think a lot more. I bought books as well, but soon the world events were speeding up so much that they became somewhat irrelevant. The internet changed things for me. The Lord really awakened me to the nearness of his coming in 2011. Ritan has been a wonderful teaching venue that has consolidated my pre-trib position and understanding.

Again, from the moment I prayed the sinners prayer and fell in love with Jesus at 17yrs of age, I immediately believed in Pre-Trib!

It was just something that was present in my Spirit!  I did'nt need convincing just confirmations!

Always pre-trib. I was saved at a young age. I remember I had memorized John 3:16 so I had accepted Christ as my Savior and also His amazing love for me. I had also memorized the verse in Romans, ' There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.'  I took this to heart and realized there would be no guilty verdict, no punishment for me and so I just knew I was spared God's wrath no ands, ifs or buts. :bible

It has been a very long walk and I want to see my Lord and Savior most of all.
