I so agree!

With every breath I wait for Jesus to redeem us. I want that with every cell of my being. But I am also dismayed at the thought of seeing Him face to face. What am I that He should spend on moment on me? I am so broken and sinful, unable to be anything but that. What could I possibly say to Him?

I watched the first four episodes of The Chosen, Season Two this past weekend and knowing full well that Jonathan Roumie is just a man acting in a play, but it still made me think on Jesus and how it will be to actually see Him with no obstructions. I love the way Roumie portrays Him. Strong, yet so compassionate. It just makes me want to be with Him all the more! But how will that moment be? Knowing that He knows far better all the ways I've sinned, failed, than I do, what will He say? What could I possibly bring Him? Then I remember that being one of His is to be broken, failed, sinful. Still, it goes against the way we as humans think and until that moment FINALLY arrives, I will still live apprehensively of that day.

Seems to me that the gals as a whole are much more at ease and at peace with this than a lot of the men, myself included. In the natural world, and in the home that I grew up in, the daughters all had struggles with the mother whereas me, the son, always had, and still have, a very close relationship with her, whereas sons have more struggles with the dad than the girls. I always said that one of my sisters could crawl in "daddy's lap" and ask for a Ferrari and he'd find a way to give it to them. For me, pthhhhhhhh! (is that how you type a raspberry sound?) it was hard work. I'm very thankful that my earthly dad and I have developed a very close relationship in my adult years and I'm very blessed that he is still with us, but my view on Who God is comes from my childhood view of who my dad was. Because of the pressures he was under in those days he had a quick temper and so that is the image I developed of Who God is. I think most guys have a much more skewed view of Who God is because of our earthly fathers whereas my sisters are uninhibited to go before God. He's Daddy after all!

I cannot wait to see Him clearly!!!

I am a very shy person and would normally be very nervous.  I just think about that Jesus loves me so much that he died for me.  He already sees me covered by His blood in my perfected state.  He remembers my sin no more. Am I wrong?  I think we will be rewarded when we see him, no judgement.

Indeed Johanan,  none of us can bring anything of worth, value or reward!

But He knowing we have been tried and sifted, we shall never again rebel against Him!

Once His, we are His forever! This seems quite gratifying to the Lord!
