So I just took a walk in my neighborhood.  Doing that these days 2-3 times regularly as I continue to look for work and try to keep my sanity.

Part of my mid-day long walk (about an hour) is through a fairly isolated, no-outlet neighborhood.  As I am walking today, I notice a group of about eight people standing on the lawn of one of the rural homes.  Not a fancy neighborhood.  Big front lawns and ranch houses.  Then I noticed someone taking pictures of the people, most of whom are wearing masks.  I smile and say hello to the photographer as I walk by.  She says to me something like, "Great day for a wedding, isn't it?"  Then I look a little closer at the people and several of the guys are in tuxes.  Then, as I walk back by the house again on my way back home, I see the bride and groom with a lady minister in between them (I'll refrain from the editorial comment that comes to mind).

It was a wedding on the front lawn, with guests wearing masks, and the guest list apparently intentionally crafted to avoid any violation of the group-of-ten gathering limitation.  I can't be positive, but I think Rod Serling was one of the guests.  Do-d0-d0-d0, do-do-do-do.

Well ... this is the case for “the wedding must go on”. :good:   It could be the cheapest one on record.   I can just picture the lovely designer facial mask and plastic gloves.  Were they at least color coordinated to match their dresses and tuxedos?  I wonder how the guests could hear them say their vows?  And the rings ... did they put their rings over the plastic gloves?  And were they dancing 6 feet apart? :mdrmdr:

We have definitely entered uncharted territory. Sometimes I think that if our calendar was correct the Rapture should have happened no later than the year 1993 It's like we are in stoppage time of a soccer game. We know the whistle can blow at anytime but just not exactly when it will.

Lol!  Indeed it speaks to the ridiculous times we live in!  That's what people will say after the Rapture.  Did we enter the twilight zone!?  No, something far worse.  TR

Giving in marriage, living life, even if it is part of the AC’s attempt to take over the world earlier than the correct timeline.....the ark is completed, the animals are in, we just need to go in....., catch the chariot of fire, or walk with God and just go up! :prayer-hands:
wonder if the wedding cake was incapsulated to prevent the spread of germs?..

There's just something incongruous here.   A honeymoon under social distancing rules.  A challenge for sure.

Indeed Tammie, In the Ark just waiting for the rain to begin!  Soon to hear the desperate wails and cries of the people just as in Noah's day!  TR

Dan--I suspect they will be invoking the "two shall be as one" clause as precedent in superseding the social distancing mandate.  Just sayin'. (Would have used the laughing emoji, but I think there is some setting on my computer that is not allowing me to use them. 🙁

:mdrmdr: :mdrmdr: :mdrmdr: :mdrmdr:  I would have loved to see the bridal dance! Maybe like the early colonial times, step one-two, elbow, heel-toe, bow, circle around, but never touch, forbidden! :mdrmdr: :mdrmdr: :mdrmdr: :mdrmdr:  What a time we are in! I have often thought to write a book entitled A comedy of errors in healthcare ( might during the millennial reign) mat ad a few chapters for this virus!,,, just unbelievable, the crazy panicdemia and complete craziness — wonder if the reason for our delay in departure is that the angels are like —- wait for it —- oh this is too much— Lord, just one more laugh, please and then I’ll blow the trumpet!,, :mdrmdr: :mdrmdr: :mdrmdr: can they be so hilarious? :yahoo: :mdrmdr: :mdrmdr:

It is all indeed funny stupid when you consider the source and the level of duping taking place.  But sad when you think of what will follow!  The Rapture is then a detour of sorts in this play of life.  A devine detour if you will!  And certainly a glorious one.  One could expect no less from God!  TR
