Geri9 - thanx for that info - it is very interesting. I have not done a deep dive into Moses death and his body but will one day and this is good info to have. One thing that came across my mind about that is why would satan want Moses body - and wondered if it was because Moses SAW God. So much so that his face was changed after seeing him. I wonder if satan thought he could capture something in Moses body (DNA for example) that he could use to make him more of a god.

Often the notion "according to your faith, let it be unto you"!  Or as you have believed.  Or your faith has healed you!  So multiple raptures is not a far fetched scenario!  TR

Oh you’re so welcome NFJF.   That’s an interesting thought about satan wanted to capture Moses DNA.  Could very well be.

I was thinking along the lines that satan knows who the 2 witnesses are going to be so he was trying to prevent Moses from fulfilling God’s end game plan. Most people don’t realize it but I think satan spends more time in heaven observing things than he does on this earth.  He doesn’t get thrown out of the heavens  until mid point of the trib so that means, even after the rapture, he will probably be up there observing us and our GREAT celebration.  The first war happened in heaven and mid point another one will occur … Revelation 12:7 -8 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

Revelation 12:10

And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

And this  passage in Job … satan was in heaven having conversations with God and being permitted to put plagues to harm Job’s health and his family but he wasn’t allowed to kill him.  This is why I think if we are sick we need to ask for that hedge of protection and deliverance from the evil one because chances are we are under the same trials and testing that Job went thru.

Job 1:6-12

Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them.

And the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?

Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?

Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.

But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.

And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord.

Indeed, we don't fully understand the politics of what God allows and where, what and when the hand of the Lord is moved to help and save us???  Why has there always been martyr's in every generation?  Why are some allowed to suffer in body, or soul or spirit while others are saved???  Many patriarchs, prophets and saints have been likewise tested and infirmed!  Why was Abel allowed to be killed by his brother Cain?  While faith in and of itself is a hedge against many evils, it does not always prevent them all!!  Let us remember in like manner Jesus was also tested as all men are.  He was beaten beyond recognition, scourged within an inch of His life living for only 3 hrs upon the cross, and withstanding the mocking and brutality of the cross itself!!!  The temporal nature of this life, The effects of the curse short and long term is well understood!  Suffice to say, perfection was never promised or intended in this realm.  Perfection is reserved for the next life!  And why was Moses taken while still yet in good health, let alone the contending for his body?  I don't believe that genetics was a factor, for the quality of his character and obedience is what distinguished the ministry of Moses!  TR
