One of the reasons I like June 15 is because in John 21, the 153 fish.  I believe 153 is a clue and could mean the 15th day of the 3rd month.  The 3rd month in the Jewish calendar is June, so June 15th.  Then, is 2022 the year?  Of course no guarantees, but I like it.  High watch day June 14, 2022 in the US and June 15, 2022 in Israel.   Praise Jesus

Welcome Dave Dave, I don’t think I’ve seen you around here before so welcome!

I think I am missing something, it looks like maybe you had an original comment about June 15 that was deleted?  There is a lot of buzz about that date this year because of a recent discovery among the Dead Sea scrolls (I think researched by Ken Johnson) showing that the Essenes observed the 15th day of the 3rd month as Pentecost.  I have a hard time with that because it seems pretty clear that Leviticus 23 is instructing that Pentecost will always have to be on a Sunday, and the 15th day of any month ours or the Jewish calendar cannot be guaranteed to always fall on a Sunday - so I don’t know if I can put that much stock in it, but if this Sunday doesn’t pan out as Pentecost/rapture day then sure, I’m all in on the 15th why not?  It’s both frustrating and hopeful to have so many dates to watch lol.

I will readily admit the 153 thing has always been fascinating to me.  Its in the scripture so there must be a reason - one would not think it was put there arbitrarily.  So we wonder what is it there for?  Some have claimed that 153 simply is an amplification of 17 since 17 is a number representing resurrection and if you take all the numbers from 1-17 and add them together 1+2+3+4…….+16+17=153

Possible, but I don’t think it was necessary to have a number riddle to make the point that Jesus was resurrected, so like you, I tend to think it might have an association with a date, so it does give us something else to watch.

IF 153 is NOT associated with the rapture, I’m sure when we all get to heaven we will ask the Lord, Lord what was up with that 153 number and He will tell us and say, you didn’t get that?  I thought for sure I made that easy enough for you to figure out - and we will all scratch our heads and look at one another with a “duh” look on our faces and probably have a good laugh and say to one another, well that was basic, why didn’t we see that? Lol

Perhaps that definitive number was used to associate the number of the bride as definitive and known only by the Lord!

According to Gotquestion.org … 153 means absolutely nothing.

If you want a formula … I got one .. 1+5 = 6 then repeat the 6 … 3 times and you get 666

Since I never considered 153 significant and not being a fish eater :negative: … I rather keep my focus on the prodigal son parable … I think it has way more symbolic meaning than catching 153 fish.

The wayward son returned back to his father asking for forgiveness and the father rolled out the red carpet and gave him a robe, a ring and shoes and instructed his servants to cook … not go to the river bank and catch 153 fishes  but the fatted calf to make into (cheeseburgers, steaks, prime ribs, spare ribs, filet mignon, etc) for the banquet feast celebration. :yahoo:    To me this is more symbolic of the wedding supper of the Lamb

I’m looking up this weekend June 11th (suppose to be 6,000 years marker point) and June 12th is the 2nd wave of Pentecost and if not … then how about June 19th Father’s Day in the Father’s House?

Luke 15
18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,

19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.

20 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.

21 And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.

22 But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:

23 And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:

24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

I actually think that the Lord does everything with a purpose. I don't know if we can associate the 153 with anything with absolute certainty, but it never hurts to toss ideas around and theorize. I also look forward to learning all the things that I didn't know once we get to Heaven.....so ready to go

~  business as USUAL? .   Not while store shelves appear more empty  ~  . .Having frequent thoughts on this verse:

Mathew 24:39  . .  "As it was in the days of Noah, so will it be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark.  Business as usual, until the flood came and swept them all away.

So will it be at the coming of the Son of Man.…

But at the end, will it be normal for shelves to be bare? That could become normal in a matter of weeks or months.....

I used to think certain verses in Matt 24 applied to the church age and the rest for tribulation life … but now I’m leaning more its all about tribulation life for the left behind.

Verse 36 is famously misquoted “no man knows the day or the hour” and people love to link it to the rapture but its really about the 2nd Coming.  The days will be shorten and time is really going to speed up .. more so than what we are seeing right now … because unless the days be shorten no flesh will survive.  Its going to be that horrific.  It will be a living hell (prelude of what hell will be like) … the 2nd half of the tribulation period the sun wont give light, the stars will fall from the sky and the moon will turn to blood and if I’m not mistaken the electricity will be shut off too.  So many think well when they see the abomination of desolation … it will be easy to calculate the remaining days … no it won’t be … those that flee to Petra are told not to pack anything but run to safety.  So I seriously doubt they will have a paper calendar for 3 1/2 years in their pockets or purse to mark off the days and won’t their watch batteries/ipad batteries/cell phone batteries eventually conk out if they were carrying them.  And only tribulation believers would know about the 2nd Coming probably from the preaching of the 2 witnesses and 144,000.  But others might not even be paying attention to the preaching.

Verse 37 … The days of Noah was filled with violence and perhaps the “eating/drinking/ marrying” is not what we think of as “business as usual” but more in the line of gay/transgender partying and switching partners, raping people and nightclubbing and getting drunk?

Verse 40 & 41 about 2 in the field and one is taken and the other is left … or grinding at the mill and one is taken and the other is left … is not about the rapture … its the 2nd Coming with the separation of the sheep (tribulation saints) from the goats (the lost who taken the mark of the beast) … the tribulation believers that made it to the end will be allowed to enter into the millennium period.

The 2nd Coming event is going to be shocking for the earth dwellers  … they are not expecting it … Revelation 1:7 Behold, he cometh with the clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they that pierced him; and all the tribes of the earth shall mourn over him.

Describing the 2nd Coming

36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Sheep vs Goats Judgement  (and who enters into the Millennium Kingdom)

40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

Yep … I’m leaning the grocery store shelves will be empty of “normal food” for 7 years … this is their plan.   And to replace the food with fake lab junk … and they are encouraging people now to get used to eating … seaweed, algae, etc.   And this is what they are doing in some schools in Great Britain … feeding kids bugs/insects.
