Yeah I hear ya... I gave it up years ago myself, got kind of tired of hearing the saying every house may need a little paint —- maybe that is true and maybe not! Paint can also be a cover up for all the imperfections. Paint over the top of imperfections can be a causative factor in creating eruptions of underlying issues, problems, concerns, etc...... ok, coming off the soap box now :mdrmdr: can’t wait for that glorified look, the imperfect putting on the perfect...the mortal putting on the Immortal.....what a great look that will be :prayer-hands: Indeed! We will all be changed. Reminds me of an old joke! War time, Italian sergeant speaking to his men saying: I've got great news! Today we all get a change of underwear! Guido you change with Alphonso, etc! TR :mdrmdr: :mdrmdr: Now that’s funny! I know odd humor, but funny! So true story ... on a mission trip many years ago, one of our adult team members suitcase did not arrive with us .... we had made sure everyone had a backpack that included essentials for personal care to cover them for at least a day or two (toothbrush/ paste, deodorant) and a change of clothes (socks, undies, shirt), a day of food (protein bar, peanut butter); normal stuff and good thing too, when her suitcase didn’t make it to us for four days. The joke became, how many ways can you wear one pair of undies - normal way (front facing), backwards, turn inside out and repeat The front and then backwards - that gives you four days before you absolutely need to at least get them wet to air dry before a repeat for another four days wear .... Ever your humble servant! TR So funny, Tammie! But really... a shirt? Weren't the lady's legs too big for the sleeves? Just kidding, of course.
we did manage to find an extra shirt that she could use from one of our care packages we had brought for the churches! A lot of stretching and growing for her that trip and us to see God use that to help us minister to the folks.
So, I find it a very humorous joke :mdrmdr: :mdrmdr: thank you for the memory! :prayer-hands:
