If the below report from Zero Hedge says anything, it’s that we have now entered a new and very concerning phase of this nasty war playing out in a very nasty part of the world. In my opinion, the purpose of this war, from the West’s and NATO’s perspective, is to facilitate a regime change in Russia and get a more “green” friendly puppet leader installed in the Kremlin.
Russia’s Bryansk Governor Alexander Bogomaz reported today that a Ukrainian military drone carried out a strike on the village of Sushany in the region’s Klimovsky District, causing a residential building to catch fire.
Earlier today, Bogomaz reported that Ukrainian saboteurs had entered the Klimovsky District and shelled a vehicle in the village of Liubechane.
The Russian tabloid Telegram channels Baza and Mash reported that “Ukrainian saboteurs” took several people hostage in the village of Sushany. According to the Russian state news outlet TASS, up to six people are being held hostage.
Various media sources have reported that the group of “saboteurs” consists of 40–50 people. According to Baza, an electrical substation and a gas station in Sushany exploded, and Russian soldiers are engaged in combat with the “saboteurs.” TASS also reported armed clashes between Russian soldiers and Ukrainian “saboteurs,” while state news outlet RIA Novosti reported that hostages have been taken in Liubechane.
The Ukrainian authorities have not commented on these reports.
