Bought a house a year and a half ago!  Planted a tree in my front yard, immediately my neighbors took offence and balked that I planted a quaking aspen!

Till then we fostered a good neighbor policy.  Once I adopted the attitude, oh well it's planted now their attitude became hostile and anal!

They neither believe in God nor wanted to hear of him!  A sad commentary on the world's prevailing spirit!

Seems an odd thing to get up in arms about. Do you talk to your neighbors about God? If so, then perhaps they are using any excuse to cast stones. I planted an October Beauty maple in my yard this year and have received lots of positive feedback and we have strict covenants here.

My sprinkler once cast water droplets on his car, and he became livid!

A month after moving in I broached the topic of God and was immediately shut down!

Refusing now to cast my Pearl's before swine!

Combative and aggressive behavior now defines this couple!

I'm seeing more and more of this kind of behavior from people. The spirit that influences them is keenly aware of the Spirit that influences me.

yes, i've found recently that people -especially those working out in public- seem to be truly surprised and delighted by any hint of kindness...my guess is because they rarely experience it anymore

it's a sad, scared and angry world without Jesus

And yet there are Christians who truly believe we will go through the Great Tribulation. What must they be thinking? That is will be much like it is today? They have absolutely NO idea just how evil this world will be the moment we are taken out of it. They think the world is a cold and heartless place now. It will be exponentially worse during the Trib. And Thank You, Jesus that we will NOT be here for it.

Amen!

Sad they can’t accept salvation from His judgements!  Or that it is done, by Him alone!

Sadder still that so many refuse God’s righteous assessment of our need of salvation as well!

Pride truly goes/comes before the fall into hell!

Did the water droplets go on his convertible and the top was down?  Or did he have the windows down or the sunroof open at the time?    If not,  I can’t understand how someone can be irate by a few water drops.   What must he do when a bird flies over and poops or when its an ice or snow blizzard.  Is it always sunny in your area?

Quaking Aspen … very pretty tree!  We call them White Birches on the east coast.  They tend to fall down easily if there is a big wind storm … perhaps he was worried it will fall down on his home or his driveway and damage his car?  Or perhaps the tree will block sunshine and shade his garden?
