📢 Forum Update -  Hello everyone! I've made an improvement to the forum that should make following active discussions much easier. Beginning today, forum topics will display the most recent replies first (while keeping the original topic post at the top), so you no longer have to navigate through multiple pages to find the latest conversation. This change also helps improve the browsing experience in long-running discussions with many pages of replies. If you notice anything that doesn't seem to be working correctly or have any feedback, please let me know. — Richard G.

What good nerd hasn't? :mdrmdr:  I love magnets and magnetism. I have a schematic for a magnetic levitation device that uses the Arduino microprocessor. I haven't built it yet but it's on my to do list.................like so many others

I have not. Never thought to measure a blown LED on the scope.

What's fun to do to engineers when I have a meeting with them is to lay out several component samples on the table while we are talking and time it for how long it takes before they pick one of them up and play with it. So predictable! LOL :mdrmdr: :mdrmdr:

Yeah I get it. :good:

Did you measure the failure on an o-scope -- mV, mA, brightness, loudness, ...  (how boring can engineers get? -- please don't answer that!) :stinkerbell:

Do you like to play with neodymium magnets?

What LED you along that train of thought, Yohanan?

I was sitting at my workbench with a multicolored LED in my hand while reading this thread and you being an engineer have no doubt run too much current through an LED just to hear it pop! ?

I think it will be GREAT to have electronic devices that we never have to worry about viruses or being hacked.   Is this all in the knowledge shall increase or is there more to learn about and have at our fingertips in the next life?

We know the Lord uses books … Book of Life … and the books were open … etc. but will there also be a large flatscreen tv showing the unsaved all that they did so they can’t be in denial and have forgotten as they try to plead their case of “they were good” ….
