It seems to me that the true measure of a Christian is not a matter of how much noise we make in Church, but rather how quietly we listen when He speaks!

It is not with the enticing words we speak or the volume we employ, but rather what truth and humility quietly issues from the heart!

It is not our knowledge of the scriptures that brings us glory, but rather our childlike faith!  God said it, I believe it, that settles it.

I prefer, “God said it, that settles it.” 🙂

The true measure of a Christian?

Romans 8:37-39 New King James Version (NKJV)
37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

There is neither height nor depth (or anything) that can separate us from the Love of God.
There is no true measure of God’s love for us, as it is limitless. Smile
 :thankyou :rose:

Typically, the very nature of a very young child is their ability to love unconditionally, learn from the adult, and trust without question.

As children grow they take on the nature of their environment, so we have our Lord say...

Matt 17:20 “He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.”

So many things in life create an unhealthy growth environment that we need Gods word to help remind us to keep the main thing important. God first.
