Since 2009, I have written the article "The rise and fall of Anti Christ" and posted on numerous Christian forums including the old RITAN website. But because there are many newcomers who haven't had a chance to read it yet, I would like to post it here again. I am not naming who that Anti Christ is, and please do not reply and speculate who that person is. Thanks. The rise and fall of Anti Christ begins in Daniel 11:21. Daniel 11:21 And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries. Many bible scholars believe the vile person is Anti Christ. We also find this vile person in Isaiah 32:6-7. His appearance shall be after the rapture.The world shall plunge into chaos and confusion.The most affected area shall be Christians dominated countries like U.S. and EU. It shall be easy for him to come on the world scene to obtain the kingdom by flatteries. And since he is from Rome according to Daniel 9:26, let's focus the kingdom he shall obtain is Western Europe. We also learn that he shall have ten horns to help him rise up to power (Daniel 7:8). But we also learn that he is not given the honor of the kingdom. The reason is because he is an outsider, or he is not a politician at all He has no lineage in lining up to the kingdom.The only logical answer is he is a religious leader, and by his flatteries and peace,he shall obtain the trust of the kingdom. Daniel 11:22 And with the arms of a flood shall they be overflown from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant. Who is this huge army which is swept away before him? I believe they are Gog/Magog army. His first witness to world's major event is Gog/Magog invasion on Israel, and Yahweh's personal intervention. And who is the prince of covenant? He is Gog,the leader of this coalition which includes Iran and Turkey. What is the covenant that the prince has? It is the military pact he has with Iran,Turkey,members that join him to invade Israel.What shall be his fate? He shall be broken like the rest of the army. Daniel 11:23 And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people. The key word is "the league made with him". After Gog/Magog, there shall be a power vacuum left in the Middle East region. Russia has been pushed back to their own territory, and the powerhouse Iran and Turkey have been decimated. AC shall take this opportunity to reshape the entire Middle East region by forming an alliance and a league with the regional countries.This is the revival of the Roman empire,with the western and eastern legs joining each other again. He shall become strong with a small people. It is because this revival doesn't need a referendum of countries involved , but only consensus from small amount of people. Ten kings shall be appointed to rule these ten toes with AC (Revelation 17:12). These ten toes is the final kingdom on earth before Christ returns according to Nebuchadnezzer's statue. It is very likely that five toes come from the western leg, while the remaining five toes come from Eastern leg. Some of them are strong like iron, while some of them are feeble like clay. Daniel 11:24 He shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers' fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yea, and he shall forecast his devices against the strong holds, even for a time. Who is this fattest places of the province? The answer is Jerusalem. What shall AC do when he enters Jerusalem. He shall confirm a covenant with many nations including Israel. The covenant he shall confirm is Abrahamic's covenant which includes the rightful heir to the holy land. He shall confirm the rightful heir is Israel by expanding her territory to the land of Jordan (Zephaniah 2:9,Jeremiah 49:2) But at this moment he shall also forecast his devices against the stronghold which is Israel,even for a time. My belief is he shall convince Israel to disarm all their nuclear weapons and trick them to believe that they don't need them anymore. He shall assure their security with some sort of arrangement. When Israel buys into his promise,Israel shall become vulnerable to his plan later on which is the breaking up of the covenant,and the subsequent invasion on Israel by him. See how evil he is. Daniel 11:25 And he shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great army; and the king of the south shall be stirred up to battle with a very great and mighty army; but he shall not stand: for they shall forecast devices against him. From the subsequent verse 26 we learn that the king of the south is Saudi who opposes his plan,and refuses to forfeit the temple mount to Israel for the purpose of rebuilding the third temple. Saudi never joins the previous two battles Psalm 83/Amos 1-2 and Gog/Magog.She is the only Islamic powerhouse which is left intact. She shall lead the Arab nations which include Kuwait,Qatar,UAE,Yemen to challenge AC's plan. But Saudi shall not prevail.. Daniel 11:26 Yea, they that feed of the portion of his meat shall destroy him, and his army shall overflow: and many shall fall down slain. God is so amazing. He has left this verse for us to identify who this king of the south is. "The portion of his meat" is the millions of barrels of crude oil, which feed the western Europeans nations daily.They,the western European nations which feed millions barrels of crude oil from him,Saudi Arabia,shall destroy him. Daniel 11:27 And both these kings' hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table; but it shall not prosper: for yet the end shall be at the time appointed. Strange thing happens after AC battles with king of the south.They both shall do mischief,and they shall speak lies at one table, but their lies shall not prosper,for yet the end shall be at the time appointed. These two prominent figures, remind me of the first beast and the false prophet in book of Revelation 13 and their act together. This is why I believe the king of the north is the first beast in Revelation 13, while king of the south is the false prophet. God says their plan shall not prosper. Daniel 11:28 Then shall he return into his land with great riches; and his heart shall be against the holy covenant; and he shall do exploits, and return to his own land. AC shall return into his land with great riches,At this time,he is completely possessed by evil,and his heart shall turn against the holy covenant. But why is "return to his own land" mentioned twice here? I believe his first return is Rome,while his second return is Shinar. We learn this from Zechariah 5:5-11 that a woman shall move to Shinar,and sets there as her own base,and builds a house there. Shinar is the ancient Babel which is also the origin of evil,pagan worship,sorcery. Nimrod has led a world wide revolt against God there. When AC moves his base to Shinar, God calls AC is returning to "his own land' which is Babel. It is very interesting to see that the devil and his puppet AC shall return to Babel and from there launches their final revolt against God. God shall deal with AC and his mystery Babylon later. We have this assurance in Revelation 17 and 18. Babylon is fallen!!! fallen!!! Daniel 11:29 At the time appointed he shall return, and come toward the south; but it shall not be as the former, or as the latter. AC shall come toward the south one more time. But it shall not be like the previous one when he battles with the king of the south,or as the latter one when he goes against Israel in the middle of tribulation.The reason is laid out in verse 30. Daniel 11:30 For the ships of Chittim shall come against him: therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant. I believe Chittim speaks of U.S. and Canada. Remember the four beasts in Daniel 7. There are three other formidable nations contemporary with the fourth beast kingdom controlled by AC. The lion with eagle's wing which is U.S. shall not join AC's fourth beast and the ten toes alliance. U.S.is Chittim who shall interrupt AC during his second attempt to the south. But tragic thing happens after his failed attempt toward the south,because he shall have indignation against the holy covenant. And he shall unite those that forsake the covenant with him.We find the rest of the verses from 31 to 35 which speaks of the times of Jacob's trouble. Daniel 11:31 And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate. 32And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. 33And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days. 34Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries. 35And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed. And verse 36 to 40 speaks of the haughtiness of him.At this time he has already defiled the third temple,and imagine himself being God. Daniel 11:36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done. 37Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all. 38But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things. 39Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain. At this time,it has been a long narration beginning with the first king of the south in verse 5. Beginning from verse 40,God gives a summary of what has been told,and what is to come. This is why we are seeing the battle between king of the north and king of the south again. Daniel 11:40 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over. We have already gone through this part. Daniel 11:41 He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon. He shall also enter the glorious land which is Jerusalem.This is nearing the middle of tribulation and shall trigger the fall of Jerusalem and Israel. He shall break the covenant and raises a huge army against Jerusalem. Edom,Moab,and Ammon which is Jordan shall escape his hand. His primary objective is Israel,not Jordan,plus Jordan at this time has already been fallen into Israel's hand for three years (Isaiah 16:13-14). Daniel 11:42 He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape. After Israel,he shall go after Egypt. Daniel 11:43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps. Libya and Ethiopia shall also be at his steps.They shall have the same fate with Egypt and falls into AC's hand. Daniel 11:44 But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many. From Micah 5:5 we learn that when AC/the Assyrian invades the holy land,God shall raise seven shepherds and eight principalities to fray him (see also Zechariah 1:18-21, God raises four carpenters to fray the four horns). This tiding from east and north is China/king of the east and the regrouped Russia. They shall trouble AC. This is world war three or the sixth trumpet we find in Revelation 9. AC shall go forth with great fury to destroy,and utterly make away many. The "many" is one third of world population we find in Revelation 9:15-18, killed by this global nuclear warfare. Daniel 11:45 And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him. I believe at this time the city Babylon is already destroyed. It is very close to the end of tribulation.But he is going to make one more move to Jerusalem,to his palace there. The global warfare has exhausted all nations. They are licking their wounds and none shall help him,plus he has already lost his credit being the messiah. But he shall lead one more revolt and his final attempt by aligning nations in Armageddon,to battle with our Lord. By this time we all know how tragic his end is,that is, eternally burned in the lake of fire after Jesus returns. Why would AC invade Egypt after Israel? Isaiah 19:1 The burden of Egypt. Behold, the LORD rideth upon a swift cloud, and shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it. 2 And I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians: and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbour; city against city, and kingdom against kingdom. 3 And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst thereof; and I will destroy the counsel thereof: and they shall seek to the idols, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spirits, and to the wizards. The spirit of the Lord shall visit Egypt.The timing should be around middle of tribulation,after AC invades Israel. Egyptian shall be greatly divided. Some shall follow AC while many shall oppose his teaching. Civil war break outs with uprising in many area. This is why AC and the ten kings shall send in army to quell this uprising. But for those who oppose AC and the ten kings,it would be too late. Isaiah 19:4 And the Egyptians will I give over into the hand of a cruel lord; and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts. There have been many speculation as to who this cruel lord / fierce king is since Arab uprising.One of the speculation is Morsi. But I have pointed out in 2009 before the uprising that the cruel lord is AC.And the recent uprising in Egypt is not the fulfillment of Isaiah 19. Isaiah 19 shall be fulfilled around middle of tribulation. The reason lies in verse 16 and 17. Isaiah 19:16 In that day shall Egypt be like unto women: and it shall be afraid and fear because of the shaking of the hand of the LORD of hosts, which he shaketh over it. 17 And the land of Judah shall be a terror unto Egypt, every one that maketh mention thereof shall be afraid in himself, because of the counsel of the LORD of hosts, which he hath determined against it., The key word is "and the land of Judah shall be a terror unto Egypt". Egyptian has already witnessed the terror occured in Israel around mid-trib. It shall be a terror unto Egypt because they are the next victim. Whoever makes mention thereof shall be afraid in himself. Daniel 11:42 He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape. 43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps. When AC with the help of his ten kings invades Egypt and Ethiopia,will Ethiopia seek help? The answer is yes. Isaiah 18:1 Woe to the land shadowing with wings, which is beyond the rivers of Ethiopia: 2 That sendeth ambassadors by the sea, even in vessels of bulrushes upon the waters, saying, Go, ye swift messengers, to a nation scattered and peeled, to a people terrible from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden down, whose land the rivers have spoiled! They shall send a messenger to a nation scattered and peeled, to a people terrible from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden down, whose land the rivers have spoiled! Who is this nation? The answer is China. Unlike Caucasian and African,the Chinese is known for hairless on their body. Their nation is meted out and trodden down by mountains and rivers.And they have been living under fear since 4000 years ago.This nation has been ruled by many dynasty and dictators. Democracy is a rare term in China even up to now.The yellow river and Yangtze river have long been troubling them with floods for thousands of years.For a nation meted out and trodden down,whose land the rivers have spoiled,when we study the sculpture of China,we do find their territory and provinces are named according to their location to mountains and rivers,such as Hubei which means north of river, Shanxi which is west of mountain, Hunan which is south of river,and Shandon which is east of mountain.. When China come to Ethiopia's help, and engages AC and his ten kings,is this the world war three? The answer is yes. From Daniel 11:44,we learn that not only China the king of the east shall engage AC and his revived Roman empire,the regrouped Russia shall involve in this global warfare. We have seen the latest strategic alliance between Russia and China. Daniel 11:44 But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many. What will be the final judgment from God when this world war three takes place? Revelation 16:21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great. Have anyone of you heard of nuclear winter? . How Does Nuclear Winter Work? A nuclear explosion is like bringing a piece of the Sun to the Earth's surface for a fraction of a second. Like a giant match, it causes cities and industrial areas to burn. Megacities have developed in India and Pakistan and other developing countries, providing tremendous amounts of fuel for potential fires. The direct effects of the nuclear weapons, blast, radioactivity, fires, and extensive pollution, would kill millions of people, but only those near the targets. However, the fires would have another effect. The massive amounts of dark smoke from the fires would be lofted into the upper troposphere, 10-15 kilometers (6-9 miles) above the Earth's surface, and then absorption of sunlight would further heat the smoke, lifting it into the stratosphere, a layer where the smoke would persist for years, with no rain to wash it out. The climatic effects of smoke from fires started by nuclear war depend on the amount of smoke. Our new calculations show that for 50 nuclear weapons dropped on two countries, on the targets that would produce the maximum amount of smoke, about 5 megatons (Tg) of black smoke would be produced, accounting for the amount emitted from the fires and the amount immediately washed out in rain. As the smoke is lofted into the stratosphere, it would be transported around the world by the prevailing winds. We also did calculations for two scenarios of war between the two superpowers who still maintain large nuclear arsenals, the United States and Russia. In one scenario, 50 Tg of black smoke would be produced and in another, 150 Tg of black smoke would be produced. How many nuclear weapons would be required to produce this much smoke? It depends on the targets, but there are enough weapons in the current arsenals to produce either amount. In fact, there are only so many targets. Once they are all hit by weapons, additional weapons would not produce much more smoke at all. Even after the current nuclear weapons reduction treaty between these superpowers is played out in 2012, with each having about 2,000 weapons, 150 Tg of smoke could still be produced. I believe the hailstone about the weight of a talent is the immediate result of this nuclear winter.This is also the final judgment we find when seventh vial is being poured. How long shall Egypt and Ethiopia be fallen into AC's hand? Three years according to Isiah 20. Isaiah 20:2 At the same time spake the LORD by Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, Go and loose the sackcloth from off thy loins, and put off thy shoe from thy foot. And he did so, walking naked and barefoot. 3 And the LORD said, Like as my servant Isaiah hath walked naked and barefoot three years for a sign and wonder upon Egypt and upon Ethiopia; 4 So shall the king of Assyria lead away the Egyptians prisoners, and the Ethiopians captives, young and old, naked and barefoot, even with their buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt. Never in history we find these three years captivity on Egypt and Ethiopia been fulfilled, in the hand of an Assyrian king. These three years is still waiting for it's fulfillment. What other nations shall be fallen together with Egypt and Ethiopia? Ezekiel 30:1 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying, 2 Son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Howl ye, Woe worth the day! 3 For the day is near, even the day of the LORD is near, a cloudy day; it shall be the time of the heathen. 4 And the sword shall come upon Egypt, and great pain shall be in Ethiopia, when the slain shall fall in Egypt, and they shall take away her multitude, and her foundations shall be broken down. 5 Ethiopia, and Libya, and Lydia, and all the mingled people, and Chub, and the men of the land that is in league, shall fall with them by the sword. These nations are Libya,Lydia,Chub,and the men of the land that is "in league". It does seem "a league" shall be formed among Egypt,Ethiopia,Libya,Lydia,Chub,and all the mingled people there. They probably form an alliance or a league at some point in the tribulation. Daniel 11:21-45 is the most detailed description of Anti Christ. This is why angel Gabriel was stopped by prince of Persia for 21 days,because Satan didn't want this message be heard. God was exposing his end time plan. It begins with how he comes to power and obtains the kingdom by flatteries, how he capitalize Gog/Magog,by forming a league with small amount of people.How he enters Jerusalem and confirms a covenant with many,but at the same time he is plotting an evil device against Israel,and later on his battle with king of the south. He shall prevail while king of south succumbs to him. But these two kings shall do mischief,and speaks lies at one table,for the end shall be at the time appointed. Tragic thing occurs when he goes up against Israel in the middle of tribulation. This war shall also spread to Egypt and north African nations. While China and Russia are watching,they shall eventually get involved when Ethiopia sends a swift messenger to China and seeks help. This is the sixth trumpet judgment and the beginning of world war three. At the end of this world war three,no one shall come to his help. He has deceived all nations with his sorcery and witchcraft,but these nations shall know his true color by then. His final act is to gather nations in the valley of Megiddo,anticipating the return of our Lord.
