So glad to see JD land back on what I believe is the correct interpretation of the Greek word, apostasia. Indeed, context, context, context. The argument for physical departure over spiritual falling away is much stronger. The best new piece of information that he shared, at least for me, was the detail on the Catholic church's fingerprints all over the apparent first change in translation from departure to falling away, as in the defection of the Protestant Reformation from the mother church of Babylon.
