Hi, all.  I know I didn't put this in the Dream Forum, but I wanted to be sure that more could read it.  Besides the one rapture dream I had in 2000, this was what I feel was the most significant dram I have ever had.  I had this dream Saturday night/early Sunday morning.  I woke up in the middle of the night and remembered it.  When I awoke Sunday morning it was still very clear in my mind, and I wrote it down.  At first I didn't understand it, but as I prayed, I believe God gave me the interpretation.  This is what I wrote down yesterday:

"It was very short, but I’ll tell you every detail. I was by the sea. It was dark outside and I could see the stars. The water was black and cold. I was hurrying, like I was trying to hide from something. A man with white hair and a white mustache and beard was trying to help me. He was afraid and in a hurry.  He wrapped me into what looked like a basket to hide me and pushed me out into the sea. I was worried for the man and asked him, "We believe in the same God.  Will I see you again?" He shook his head and whispered “No.”

I prayed and prayed about the dream and thought more on the small details of the dream since it was so vivid.  I think I may understand it.

The white haired guy was Moses, and he was afraid and looking behind him as he was taking me to the basket to hide me. I think he saw the tribulation coming. Even though he belongs to God, he was still scared of God’s wrath coming on the earth. He hid me in a basket and pushed me out to sea. This proves to me it was Moses. It’s not like we were on a beach with crashing waves but more like a sea of dark quiet water like the Sea of Galilee. (I visited Israel last year, and it felt like it was Israel.)

The water was dark and it was dark outside showing the stars. I think this shows the darkness of the world. The tribulation was about to start! So Moses pushed me out to sea and I said that we believed in the same God and asked if I would see him again. He whispered No. That part was disturbing, but I think that he meant in this world, this earth, while he stood on dirt, that I would not see him again on this earth. But I was in the water. I was headed somewhere apart from the earth. It’s a picture of the rapture! It was like how heaven is sometimes pictured as crossing the River Jordan. I believe that’s what I was doing. And I was being “hidden” just as the church is in the rapture.

And of course, Moses is very symbolic in many ways. He is returning as one of the two witnesses. I was in a basket like he was as a baby and was being hidden. He looked behind him knowing something was coming. (I think he may be on earth when the Mosaic covenant is confirmed.) And last but not least, he is the man that was there for PASSOVER!!!  I am not setting a date, but I am convinced more than ever that something significant could happen by then.

The Holy Spirit has been close all day. All day I cried for those left in the tribulation. It felt like it was so close and so real! And I loved this old guy in the dream, and I knew he was headed for hardship. I wanted to cry for him! I will never forget it!"

That is what I wrote yesterday while it was fresh in my mind.  That dream is still with me, so clear and vivid in my mind.  Would love to hear what you all think!

Quite a dream.  I agree that it could be speaking to the nearness of both the Rapture and then Tribulation.  The tie in to Moses as one of the last witnesses was awesome.  Seems to me that if this was from the Lord and prophetic in nature, you seem to have a pretty good understanding of interpretation.  As only you could!  Indeed thanks for sharing it, Sis.

I am not personally gifted with interpretation, so my first default is to the one who had the dream.  As bizarre as it would be to have such a dream and considering the biblical tie ins, for me it has a ring of truth to it!  Again, I am not so gifted!

I believe that there is significance to the Saturday/Sunday time frame it was given in.  Saturday- Sabbath - Old Testament.  Sunday - Resurrection Day -  New Testament - Future event?

Also the promise of being hidden away!  The ensuing closeness of the Holy Spirit, signifying that God was the author!  As well as your empathy for what yet lies ahead for Moses!

The bible tells us that signs and wonders and dreams and visions shall follow those that believe.  Also, a general heads-up of the times ahead.

Very cool dream!

I agree Moses and Elijah will both be the 2 witnesses because they were at the transfiguration.

In Jude 1:9 Satan was disputing “about the body of Moses” with Michael the archangel.  To me that means ... the body of Moses wasn’t going to stay and decay in the ground and he was brought up to heaven.

This is an interesting verse too ... Deut. 34:7 “And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.”

Moses represents the law so what better person to have during the 3 1/2 years than him informing the Jews personally and pointing them to Jesus.  Plus the miracles that will be performed are the same ones both Moses and Elijah did under their ministry the first time.

The land of Jordan represents the promise land ... and to the church, that means heaven.

The fact he said he will not see you again ... my take is he is staying on earth and you’re heading to heaven.  Passover is the time when the Jews set out another plate hoping Elijah will show up.  So Passover Saturday, April 20th is really a big high watch time as well as the next day Resurrection Sunday April 21st.

Also since you said it was dark out when you were safely in the basket could indicate at the strike of midnight ... the rapture might happen vs. early morning hours.

I'm encouraged! Your interpretation makes such sense, and wouldn't it be so that Moses might truly experience heavy feelings and cautions, that we first must be brought to safety, you hidden, representing our Rapture basket of protection for all God's saints. But with our departure, Moses knowing the terrible times ahead on earth, had a sense of urgency that does give the sense of it being imminent. I love that there was the brightness of the stars in spite of the darkness. As in hope eternal ~ The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not over come it. We will not be overcome through God's blessed plan in Christ Jesus, for all who have and who will call on His Name for salvation. The time may truly be very short. Thank you for sharing

Yes...so very exciting and encouraging...and what a wonderful interpretation...I believe that you received that right from the Holy Spirit!  Thank you so much for sharing the dream with us.  Right now the tired and weary saints need every bit of encouragement we can get....so much harassment from "you know who."  I even got a notice I may be called for Jury Duty in a city which is 100 miles away...and I'm almost 80 with lots of health problems!  Come quickly, Lord Jesus.

Again...thanks for the wonderful dream and interpretation!

Wow, amazing dream and interpretation. Most definitely a spiritual dream. I think your Moses can also symbolize Israel who will have to endure the Trib and will be changed forever when they accept their Messiah. Also, Israel birthed the church and so is much older. Moses was himself a babe when he was placed in the basket or ark. Just offering some random thoughts. Will be eagerly awaiting Passover this year. :good:

Glorybound, ask your doctor to give you a written notice regarding your health and age that affect your ability to travel, and inability to to do jury duty for those reasons. Then pass a copy of that on to them if pressed to come in. It should release you from ever being called. :rose:

I actually told my mother, a few hours after the dream, that maybe the man was a picture of Israel too.  Thanks for the confirmation!
