The made up higher powers of AA? reminds me of the Mormons. Make up your own God and worship it? Not me!

I've spent about 40 days in AA and my time in AA is short. I cant subscribe to the made up non-sense of making up any kind of higher source of power. Essentially making up your own God? I have been shamed by my John 14:6 stance and I have been told no one wants to hear about it. And Im tired of the Christian bashing in AA too. I've heard intelligent attorneys say what if I do pray to Zeus as my higher power? Lol And I've heard countless people say they pray to mother earth. I spent 45 minutes listening to an LBGT yesterday say they make up new Gods all of the time. I cant do it anymore. I have a christian sponsor. I will continue to talk with him and move over to Celebrate Recovery on Thursday night. I have been much stronger. Please pray for a job. That's next in my future. Thank you :-) And God Bless all of you for your prayers.
