Regina, could be what we do, like the fair ladies and knights of long ago. Course, I’m not sure 100%, that I want to walk around with a crown on my head - my personal thought. For my thoughts - When I run to see my Heavenly Father, I would probably forget to remove it as I seek that peaceful and loving hug from Him.

Then again, I might need to wear the crown as I fly around during the 1000 year reign on earth to work for our Lord in what He chooses for me to do.
Can you imagine what our life will be like surrounded by those born during the millennium, the righteous judge rules and reigns and we are in our perfection among those who are not His and Satan is bond. what fun and responsibilities. :prayer-hands:

We will no doubt bare witness to all that God is and has done.  Teach and brag on God!  Council, aide and assist in whatever way we can.  For Satan will be released to that they who are still flesh and blood can also be tested as were.

Another question about the crowns ... will believers that lived in other dispensations also be entitled to crowns or is it solely reserved for the Church Age believers?

I see from this passage the one thief on the cross had this testimony not only to the other thief who was snickering but how about to all those who were standing at Calvary observing the whole event?  Wouldn’t that new believer also be entitled to a soul winners crown? :feedback

Luke 23:39-43
And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.

But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?

And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.

And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.

And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.

Indeed crowns are just one way that the Lord will honor us, for honoring Him!  So too, wedding bands can be considered finger crowns!

The Rapture in all it's glory is also one way the Lord will corporately honor His Bride.

Indeed suffering loss in Heaven will mean fewer rewards.  But God's graciousness however displayed will suffice!

We shall still be considered the crown of His creation.  Better to be a crown than get one.  Each of us will be a part of the Lord's greatest crown, His heart! We shall also be living crowns that will exist forever.

As I was reading through everyone's responses -- Chris Tomlin's song was playing in my head:

Indeed because of the crowns that are given, we shall rule and reign with Him!  And perhaps because of those crowns we will rule over and or sit in judgment over the angels!

Seems to me that they are more than mere gifts of appreciation or merit.  But they are visible representations of power, authority and position!

Usually given to sovereign potentates highlighting God''s sovereignty over all the Earth.  And whoever wore one was expected to display the attributes of God's rule, reign, justice and mercy!
